The Love Story
Veronica and John met while working at a summer camp, and sparks flew instantly! After camp, they stayed in touch and made trips back and forth, which led to them falling in love. After 9 beautiful years together, John got down on one knee and proposed in Cancun, Mexico.

The Planning Experience
Veronica always dreamed of a destination wedding, imagining herself barefoot on the sandy beaches. John was all in to make that vision a reality, so the planning began! They wanted their guests to have an unforgettable experience and found the perfect mix of family, fun, and relaxation at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana. Having visited the Dominican Republic before, they knew it was the ideal spot to say I do.

The Celebration
Their boho-chic wedding was everything they envisioned, with upgrades that made it truly special. They added a starlight dance floor and twinkling fairy lights, perfect for their beach reception. Instead of a sweetheart table, they opted for one long table for themselves and their wedding party. The reception entrance featured lush floral greenery and a neon sign, enhancing the overall vibe. To kick off the celebration with a bang, they included a "crazy hour" with dancers in white and a performer on stilts, along with a lively DJ and MC.

The Memories
To sum up their paradise wedding, they describe it as "easy, informative, and direct." Even with the stunning decor and fun entertainment, the real highlight was celebrating with all their close friends and family. Watching everyone bond and get to know each other made their weeklong celebration one for the books.

Advice For Future Couples
Their biggest piece of advice for couples planning a destination wedding is to sit down together
and see what you want in a resort and what you don't want. Once you have picked everything you want, go with the flow. The coordinator is aware of your preferences and will do their best to make your day as perfect as possible. Enjoy the planning and don't stress too much about things you can't be hands-on with—everything will turn out great.
