Valid passports are required for both U.S citizens and CA tourists and your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned departure date from Curacao. Language

The primary language in Curacao is Dutch, but due to it's diverse population several languages are spoken on the island like Papiamentu, a creole language, Spanish and English. Spanish and English are understood by many, especially in tourist areas. 

Currency & Tipping

The official currency of Curaçao is the Netherlands Antillean guilder (ANG), but US dollars are often widely accepted in tourist/resort areas and most tourist areas will display prices in both ANG and US dollars.  Tipping at all inclusive resorts is typically included in the overall package price, but if you receive exceptional service it is common to acknowledge it with a tip.
