The Love Story
After meeting through a mutual friend and bonding over their love for fitness and travel, these two love birds went on their first official date to a yoga class. Their connection only continued to grow through their many concerts, hikes, and weekend trip dates. All their romantic dates eventually led them to moving to a brand new city and Matt getting down on one knee and proposing!
The Planning Experience
Shannon always envisioned a destination wedding due to her traveling to many resorts and witnessing so many beautiful weddings. They both loved the idea of less planning and giving their guests a vacation to escape the cold winters, plus both their families lived on opposite sides of the country, so it seemed like a no brainer!
The Celebration
With their love for the beach and the ocean, the happy couple had a gorgeous beachfront ceremony and reception. To personalize their magical day, their siblings added some humor to the room when they were Mcing their celebration. One of the best parts of their destination wedding was planning activities for their loved ones to bond. The boys went golfing, and the ladies had a fantastic night out which successfully created special memories and friendships.
The Memories
To sum up their time in paradise, they described it as "carefree, fun, and picturesque." Having their destination wedding at Sandos Playacar Beach Resort gave them exactly what they needed to have the most memorable experience possible.
