The Love Story
A college friendship that blossomed into forever.During their first year, Risha and Ishu met while living in the same dorm building and quickly became close friends before life took them in different directions. Somehow, they found their way back to each other, growing closer than ever. After years of friendship turned to love, Ishu proposed in 2024 surrounded by their favorite people.
The Planning Experience
With Ishu's love for the beach and Rishma's vision of a unique Indian wedding, a destination celebration felt like the perfect fit. They initially considered Europe, but finding authentic Indian cuisine and experienced South Asian planners was a top priority. Moon Palace Cancun checked every box, especially with an in house Indian chef who could bring their wedding dreams to life.
The Celebration
Their special day was truly magical, with thoughtful upgrades throughout both the ceremony and reception. The enhanced floral package, stunning backdrop, and elegant table settings tied everything together beautifully. One of their favorite memories was walking down the aisle together, hand in hand, as husband and wife.
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding, they describe it as, "beautiful, dreamy, fun." After saying I do, they continued the celebration with an exciting excursion with all of their loved ones, ziplining through Cancun and exploring the cenotes.
