The Love Story
It was love at first sight for Priya and Jigar! Priya met Jigar at her sister's wedding as one of the groomsmen (turns out he was one of her brother in law's best friends, but she had never met him because he lived in Boston, and she lived in Tennessee)! Throughout the ceremony and reception we kept feeling this chemistry towards one another, something that she had never felt before. That night he asked me if he can fly out to Tennessee in two weeks and take me out on a date. Just to test how serious he was about me, Priya told him to go introduce himself to her parents/family/and her best friends that were at the reception. To her surprise he did just that, and that's when she knew this guy was special. They spent the following week together and they immediately knew this was it! Priya moved to Boston about two months later and got engaged a month after that.

The Planning Experience
Since Priya and Jigar both love to travel, they knew they wanted to have a destination wedding. With the help of their Certified Destination Wedding Specialist, they did a site inspection of Azul Sensatori and fell in love with the venue. Food was very important to them as they were planning their wedding and Azul Sensatori had their own greenhouse where they grow their own fresh vegetables and herbs. Additionally, the chefs have been trained at the finest michelin and zagat rated restaurants, which was also a big selling point for them to say I do at Azul.

The Celebration
For their one year anniversary Jigar gave Priya a card where it had two hearts intertwined and said, "Two hearts..beating as one." Priya knew right away that she wanted to use that as their wedding theme and use that phrase throughout their wedding.  Their big day came and it went even better than they expected and soon enough they were exchanging their vows surrounded by the breathtaking sea. One of the highlights of their celebration was taking their wedding party on a catamaran ride where they had lite bites and cocktails, and were able to enjoy snorkeling to view some of the best coral reefs in the world.

The Memories
Jigar will never forget the moment that he saw Priya walk down the aisle for the first time. Jigar recalls, "when I saw Priya at the altar for the first time, that's when it hit me that she was about to be my wife." To sum up their destination wedding they describe it as "best experience ever." They enjoyed their time in paradise so much they hope to come back to Mexico for their one year anniversary to reminisce on where it all began and to explore more parts of the city.

Advice For Future Couples
Their advice for future couples is to take your time and think of every detail for your wedding. Your guests are spending money and time to attend your wedding so you owe it to them and to yourself to put in the effort. All this aside, have a positive attitude and make the most of your day because everything goes by SO fast and you will never get the moment back again. Enjoy every second of it!!
