The Love Story
After meeting through a mutual acquaintance, Megan and Jordan were simply friends. Megan explained to her friend group one night that she was over the dating scene and joked around with Jordan that she was going to marry him. A few days later Jordan asked out Megan and fast forward these two did just that! And got married at the stunning Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites.
The Planning Experience
The thought of a destination wedding seemed daunting at first, but with a little bit of research and help from their Wedding Specialist, Tracy, it was a no-brainer. When it came to finding the perfect resort, Megan and Jordan liked that Iberostar Rose Hall Suites had plenty of options to meet the needs of their guests.
The Celebration
With a gorgeous beach behind them, Megan and Jordan kept the ceremony décor simple. They asked Megan's cousin to officiate and made sure to honor Jordan's Jewish background through the breaking of the glass. They even hosted a welcome bonfire for everyone a couple of nights prior to the wedding. For the reception, a fire dancer put on a memorable performance and even had the bride and groom join
The Memories
One of the most memorable moments was when everyone was invited to light wish lanterns on the beach as the perfect ending to the couple's big day. It was a day they described as the "most amazing experience."
Advice For Future Couples
Megan and Jordan's advice to couples planning a destination wedding:
"Be diligent, organized, and do your research. Learn about the marriage requirements of the different countries you are considering. Develop a relationship with your travel specialist and with the resort wedding coordinator; they will be your biggest asset during the planning journey."
