The Love Story
From their nightclub meeting to a twist of fate involving a lost camera, Suresh firmly believes that Marisa was sent into his life by her grandmother.One night, Marisa was out at the nightclub having fun, until she lost her camera that contained many sentimental photos of her family and her grandmother's memorial service. She approached the DJ, which happened to be Suresh, to make an announcement for a lost camera. Unfortunately, no one found her camera, but just as she was about to leave, Suresh asked for her number. After all, he would need to contact Marisa if the camera turned up. This just marked the beginning of their sweet love story!
The Planning Experience
Considering how budget friendly and intimate a destination wedding was, it didn't take long for them to decide to get married in a tropical paradise. They loved the idea of it just being their close family and friends and it was a huge plus that they could relax on the beach after their big day! Aruba was the first island they visited when they were dating, so saying their I dos in a place that held so many memories was only right!
The Celebration
For their ceremony, they personalized quite a few things to make their magical day special. The seating tags were attached to mini bottles of alcohol, which were all designed with pictures of the love birds, their names, date, location and a thank you message to their family and friends. When it came to reading their vows to each other, Marisa was filled with so much love, emotion and nervousness, that she accidentally said "I, Suresh, take you to be…" instead of "I, Marisa, take you Suresh…". Thankfully, no one noticed, but it was caught in their wedding video!

Do your research, ensure the destination location fits your budget, while taking into consideration your families and friends. . Once you choose a location and resort, make contact with your resort wedding planner on a regular basis. It helps make planning easier because every time you speak to them they learn a little more about you and try to meet your wedding expectations. I miss planning, so enjoy the planning process.
