The Love Story
In the middle of chaos and uncertain quarantine times, Kim and Billy's love actually started to blossom. Their first date at Condado Tacos was filled with nonstop laughter, instant chemistry, and that undeniable feeling that something real was beginning. From that day on, everything just clicked and started falling into place. They started to build a life full of love, spontaneous adventures and cozy days at home with their two fur babies, Melo and Chance. Their love led them to Florida, where Billy got down on one knee and popped the question in Tampa surrounded by all their loved ones.
The Planning Experience
Having a destination wedding was always on their radar! With friends and family spread across the country, what better way to bring everyone together than with a destination celebration? They wanted a dream venue that was newer, not too crowded, conveniently located near the airport, and affordable. Their Certified Destination Wedding Specialist, Eve Magoon, led them to Ocean Eden Bay. "Ocean Eden bay was the perfect resort for our guests. Stunning views, great food and not too crowded," recalls Kim.
The Celebration
Kim, being the DIY queen that she is, personalized their entire wedding to match their vision. All of their decor was brought from home, and the resort staff set everything up beautifully. One moment they will never forget is sitting at the sweetheart table during their reception, looking out at all of their favorite people gathered in one place to celebrate their special day.
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding in paradise, they describe it as "love, family, and friends." Besides the big day, Kim and Billy had an amazing time kicking off their celebration with a foam pool party and welcome drinks at the lobby bar with all their guests. Billy even had the chance to hit the golf course with his groomsmen. Every moment was so special that they're already dreaming of returning to Jamaica for their one-year anniversary.
