The Love Story
What started as a simple going-away party quickly turned into the beginning of Kiara and Antonio's love story. After meeting at the club, they instantly hit it off and spent the entire night lost in conversation like they were the only two people in the room. When the night ended, they spent time together the next day and every day after that. One year later, Antonio got down on one knee and popped the question, and soon after they were saying I do in paradise!
The Planning Experience
A destination wedding was always part of their plan, even though they had never attended one before (except for their own!). Because they both love to travel, their goal was to turn their wedding into a shared adventure their guests would always remember. While Hyatt hotels had always been their go-to, they were excited to try a different resort and destination they hadn't experienced before, one that worked for friends and family too. That's how they landed on Punta Cana! Dreams Flora was their final pick thanks to its safe and tranquil atmosphere, beautiful beach waters, and tropical jungle aesthetic
The Celebration
The resort itself was breathtaking, with a naturally stunning backdrop, so they didn't feel the need to add extra decorations. To tie in Kiara's new last name, Poole, both their ceremony and reception were held in venues built over the pool. Every moment of their special day was memorable, but what made it truly unforgettable was seeing all their loved ones who took the time and effort to celebrate their love. It was an emotional and heartwarming experience for both of them!
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding, they describe it as "explore, escape, and live." Before their special day, they gathered everyone for a rehearsal dinner, so their guests could mix and mingle. After they said their I dos, they danced the night away at their section in Coco Bongo and cheered to finally being Mr. and Mrs. Poole!
Advice For Future Couples
Kiara and Antonio's biggest piece of advice?
"Relinquishing control is part of the process. You can't micromanage from another country. Allow your coordinator to help you and everything will come together once you arrive."
