The Love Story
It was a spooky first encounter when Kelly and Fabio first met! Nearly a decade ago in 2007, these two met on Halloween in their Sociology class in college. Six months later, their love blossomed and they have been inseparable ever since. They aren't just husband and wife - but best friends.
The Planning Experience
They loved the idea of a destination wedding, and before they knew it, they started planning! When exploring their location options, they realized that they have visited other all-inclusive resorts, but never El Dorado Royale. After learning about the private Catamaran and Lupito the donkey that's available on-site, they were sold!
The Celebration
Kelly and Fabio made sure their guests were part of their special day in every way. We brought welcome bags for all their guests that included a personalized room key/money holder with lanyard, a floatable drink holder and a personalized Koozie, as well as other goodies. As for their wedding party, they believed everyone that attended were their best men and ladies! Kelly proved that even the bride can be wrong on her wedding day, when she accidentally slapped Fabio's left hand during the ring exchange. She thought for certain that his wedding band went on the hand directly across from hers, but she was mistaken. The day before they tied the knot, they took all their loved ones on a private Catamaran. It gave everyone the opportunity to bond and share special moments with one another.
The Memories
All their loved ones agreed that one of the best moments of their special day was Kelly and Fabio's grand entrance! They surprised all their guests during their cocktail hour by arriving with Lupito the donkey. "It was incredible to see their surprise and excitement," recalls Kelly. They are already planning a trip back to El Dorado Royale to celebrate their 10-year anniversary of when they met and the day they got engaged - Dia de los Muertos! The best part is, their one-year anniversary will only be 1 ½ months away at that time!
Advice For Future Couples
