During a trip to Sacramento, California with mutual friends, Jacqulyn and Charles met, and to their surprise, discovered that they both lived just one mile apart on the same street!
The Planning Experience
Ever since Jacquelyn was a little girl she knew she didn't want to go the traditional route for her wedding and wanted to have a wedding in paradise instead. With the help of their Certified Destination Wedding Specialist, she led the happy couple to Majestic Elegance Punta Cana. "She was our saving grace," recalls Jacquelyn.
The Celebration
One of the most special moments from their big day was the blended family sand ceremony. Jaquelyn and Charles really wanted to highlight their blended family and wanted to show that their big day wasn't just about them, it was about their three beautiful children too. With plenty of touching moments during their big day, the funniest moment was when Jacquelyn's nephew caught the garter and had to put it on her best friend. To start off the wedding activities, they took their loved ones on a dune buggy excursion and swam with the dolphins.
The Memories
Seeing their wedding dreams come to life was such an incredible experience for Jacquelyn and Charles. The beach gazebo was beautifully decorated and it was surrounded by their family and friends which made it even more special for the newlyweds. To sum up their destination wedding celebration, they describe it as "magical, fun, and breathtaking.
Advice For Future Couples
Jacquelyn and Charles' biggest piece of advice would be to visit the resort before your wedding; if you have time and can afford to. If you are unable to do a site inspection beforehand no big deal, just trust your gut! Have faith in your Certified Destination Wedding Specialist!
