The Love Story
Erin and Murphy crossed paths in Nebraska during medical school, and after two unforgettable years, they both moved to different states for residency. It was tough doing long distance for 6 years, but these lovebirds made it work! Their dedication to one another proves that love really does conquer all!
The Planning Experience
These travel enthusiasts wanted to take a non-traditional route when it came to their special day, so a destination wedding was the perfect way to celebrate their love. Keeping their loved ones in mind, Cancun's central location and airport was perfect for all of their loved ones flying in from different states and countries. It also helped that they fell in love with Playa Del Carmen's adorable downtown area, so it was a no brainer to say their I dos in Mexico!
The Celebration
To show their appreciation to their guests, they welcome them with goodie bags with custom tumblers, hangover kits and other travel goodies. The floral arrangements for their special day were picked out by Erin and she decorated her stunning ceremony and reception with beautiful silk flowers. Before they officially tied the knot, Erin and Murphy went with reading their own heartfelt vows to each other, making it a special moment they will remember forever. One of the funniest moments of the night was during the second dance of the night where Murphy split his pants getting low to "Apple Bottom Jeans" He didn't even skip a beat though and danced the night away!
The Memories
Erin recalls that her favorite memory from their celebration in paradise was when she was walking down the aisle from the top of the stairs and locked eyes with Murphy and seeing all of her loved ones. They loved every second of their Mexico wedding and describe it as the "best week ever."
