The Love Story
Chelsea & Scott's love story officially began while traveling on Route 66, sharing a strawberry shake where they both later admitted to each other that was the moment they fell in love.
The Planning Experience
Since the couple loves to travel (and does so often), it didn't take long for them to realize they wanted to get married in a beautiful, tropical location. They started looking for resort venues that had a great beach and custom wedding packages — Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort had just that!
The Celebration
To set the mood of being in paradise, Chelsea wanted tropical flowers she couldn't get back home. They adorned the ceremony arch, aisles, and reception tables to elevate the decor. A harpist played during the ceremony and romantic string lights with lanterns and a giant LOVE sign topped off the reception to bring in the right vibe they were looking for. As for the most fun part of their celebration, Chelsea exclaimed "when we jumped into the pool at night! Everyone loved it and it made for some awesome pictures."
The Memories
Chelsea recalls the most memorable moment being when she walked down the aisle with her Dad, hearing the song she and Scott had picked out for the occasion, and really taking the time to process that "it's all happening!" To sum up their destination wedding experience, Chelsea and Scott described it as the "Perfect, Tropical, Dream Wedding!"
