The Love Story
From a casual night out to forever, Cassie and Ryan's love story started at a sports bar back in 2021. Ryan had just moved to town and was playing pool with a friend when Cassie and her sister challenged them to a game. After the sisters won, the guys asked for a rematch, but by the end of the night, Ryan was asking for Cassie's number instead. From that moment on, they instantly clicked, spending every weekend together. Just a month later, they made things official, and in 2024, while traveling in Mallorca, Ryan got down on one knee and popped the question!
The Planning Experience
Both Cassie and Ryan had attended a few destination weddings for their loved ones and knew that was exactly what they wanted for their big day. The most important thing to them was having a big celebration with their family and friends for a few days rather than just one. Their vision was an adults only resort with an elevated look and feel, which led them to Breathless Cabo San Lucas, a perfect match that checked all their boxes
The Celebration
To get all of their guests involved, they went all out with fun props to make the day unforgettable. From a Polaroid photo book and bubble guns to giant cat heads and glow wands, the dance floor was full of energy and personality. Even better, they captured it all with an upgraded photography package. Cassie and Ryan truly took over the resort for their wedding, creating an experience where all of their guests could connect and celebrate together. They also planned intimate dinners and special moments throughout the week, making the entire trip even more meaningful. Their favorite part was the dance party at the reception, when all the planning was done and everyone could finally let loose and celebrate together.
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding experience, they describe it as the "best experience ever." It meant the world to them that their loved ones traveled far and wide to be able to celebrate this moment with them. It was the best part of their special day!
Advice For Future Couples
Cassie and Ryan's advice for couples planning a destination wedding?
"Be very particular with your planner. The language barrier is real & things will slip through the cracks. Go over it multiple times. Do not over saturate your playlist. Only put on there what you want to hear (we had too many). Try to experience everything together as much as possible. You are the stars, nobody preps you for what that feels like. Don't let yourselves get pulled apart."
