The Love Story
Meeting at a beach house in Long Beach Island, NJ through mutual friends, Caroline and Bryan instantly hit it off. As soon as they got engaged, they knew they wanted to exchange their vows on a beach.
The Planning Experience
Jamaica was one of the first destinations they traveled to as a couple, so having their wedding day be in a place that held sentimental value was the best option for these two lovebirds. Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites had everything they were looking for in a dream venue. From the close location to the airport, wonderful reviews, and the direct flights for their friends and family, they were not disappointed in their decision!
The Celebration
Etsy and Pinterest played a huge role when it came to decorating for their special day. Their wedding party received sweet gifts like a turquoise necklace and oakley sunglasses. For the decor, they brought freeze-dried petals for the flower girls, burlap and lace table runners, and, for a personal touch, they created their own escort cards, along with hashtag cards for each table, complete with a selfie stick. To finish off the night, they set off wish lanterns, making it a perfect ending to a beautiful ceremony. One of the funniest moments was when they surprised their loved ones with the Mannequin Challenge on the dance floor, along with a few wedding crashers making guest appearances in some of their photos,
The Memories
Their wedding day was filled with many memorable moments, but nothing topped the surprise of setting off wish lanterns into the clear skies. They described their celebration as the "best vacation ever" and they can't wait to return. For their one year anniversary, they would love to come back to Jamaica and visit another part of the island like Negril.
Advice For Future Couples
Caroline and Bryan's advice for future couples is stay organized and do your research! It helped us while planning. Find a great travel agent to work with; they will make the travel plans so much easier! Just relax and enjoy every little moment. It goes by so quickly! Take as many photos and videos that you can and enjoy this one time opportunity and every memory created with your loved ones.
