The Love Story
A little matchmaking and a first date at Bryant Park brought Amanda and Mark together. Surrounded by the buzz of the city and the beauty of the park, they felt an instant spark. Shortly after, Amanda moved to New Jersey for grad school and their relationship blossomed into something truly special. Before she knew it, Mark planned a romantic proposal in December 2023 in Palmer Square in front of a twinkling Christmas tree, and Amanda said yes.
The Planning Experience
After exploring their options and realizing that planning a destination wedding could actually be stress-free, Amanda and Mark were sold. Having visited both Punta Cana and Dreams Royal Beach before, choosing to say "I do" in a place as magical as that felt like a no-brainer.
The Celebration
Their wedding package had everything they needed, but Amanda and Mark couldn't resist adding a few personal touches to their ceremony. They upgraded the florals, brought in a violinist to set the mood during the ceremony and cocktail hour, glammed up the reception tables and bar, and added lively fire dancers. "We loved the violinist and the fire dancers. They were worth every penny," recalls Amanda and Mark.
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding in paradise, they describe it as lively, entertaining, and beautiful. One of their favorite memories, besides the wedding itself, was spending time by the pool with their loved ones.
