The Love Story
Thanks to their four-year age gap, Amanda & Jason never crossed paths, even though they grew up in the same area. They missed paths for many years, and life ended up taking them on different journeys, through school, college, marriage and starting families of their own. As fate would have it though, it wasn't their happy ending! Years later, a mutual connection set them up on a blind date after weeks of texting. They met at a local brewery, talked for hours, and from that night on, they just knew. Since then, they've raised their three amazing kids together and built their dream home. The best surprise came when Jason proposed in the heart of Nashville, one of Amanda's favorite cities, right on the bridge! Saying yes to each other was the best and easiest decision they ever made!
The Planning Experience
Amanda and Jason had always dreamed of a destination wedding. With their love for travel, the beach, and the ease of having everything taken care of for them, it was an easy choice. A picture-perfect backdrop for their photos and a family-friendly venue at a reasonable price were just added bonuses!
The Celebration
Their big day was filled with unforgettable moments, including a heartfelt ceremony where they included their children and exchanged a symbolic piece of jewelry to unify their family. To keep the celebration going, they upgraded to a cocktail hour and reception, enjoying quality time and delicious bites with all their loved ones.
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding in paradise, they sum it up as "easy, fun, and perfect." Making memories with their kids and loved ones, hanging out by the main Mayan pool, and finally saying their I dos was everything they could have dreamed of and more. They had the best experience in Mexico, they would love to come back for their one year anniversary.
Advice For Future Couples
Amanda & Jason's biggest advice for future destination wedding couples?
"Allow a couple days to yourselves. Spend a couple days alone together and try to relax."
