The Love Story
From college sweethearts to forever, Alyssa and Gerald met in their college dorms on move in day. Luck would have it that their rooms were right next to each other, and after going on multiple dates filled with endless laughter and stories, they knew they were in love.
The Planning Experience
After going to a friend's destination wedding and hearing several stressful stories from their friend's wedding experiences, Alyssa and Gerald knew they wanted to have a destination wedding celebration. Finding their dream resort was easy with the help from their Certified Destination Wedding Specialist, and after seeing the resort pictures from Dreams Riviera Cancun, it was a no-brainer!
The Celebration
To welcome all of their loved ones, they started off the pre-wedding celebrations by taking a catamaran cruise where they were able to swim and snorkel. It was a great way for them to spend some quality time with their guests! When it came to their big day, both Alyssa and Gerland had some pre-wedding jitters and didn't realize how many people were there until the crowd cheered once the officiant announced them husband and wife!
The Memories
Fireworks lit up the night sky, as these newlyweds had their first dance in paradise. "It was everything we have ever wanted, and will never forget those memories," recalls Alyssa. They knew they made the right decision having a destination wedding and were so happy they did!

Alyssa and Gerald advise any couples wanting to have a destination wedding to "RELAX! They will have everything taken care of for you. The resorts plan weddings day in and day out, so let them handle everything! You only have one wedding day, and you won't have time to worry about small details. Spend YOUR day relaxing and having fun!"
