The Love Story
Alicia and Ryan met while he was vacationing in Atlanta. He came up to her home for a visit and they have been together ever since.
The Planning Experience
These lovebirds love to travel and the best, so what better way to celebrate their love than to have a destination wedding. When planning their dream wedding, they wanted a that was affordable, fun, and a resort that offered something for everyone. Hard Rock had everything they were looking for including a casino, numerous pools, kids' activities, sports lounges, bars, clubs, ice cream, and several wonderful restaurants, and most importantly a beautiful beach.
The Celebration
Everything was personalized from the music, the monogram, the decorations and their arrangements, the tables, the design of the cake, the tropical flowers to the Alex and Ani bracelets Alichia purchased for each of her bridesmaids. Their favorite item was the wedding magazine they designed, showcasing beautiful images of the both of them. One of the highlights of their time in paradise was the private catamaran tour. They swam with sharks, snorkeled, and partied in shallow water with cocktails and music.
The Memories
To make their wedding day unique, Alichia wanted to do something special for Ryan. As she was walking down the aisle, she serenaded him with a song that described him perfectly. To sum up their destination wedding experience, they described it as "fun, romantic, and a fairytale.
Advice For Future Couples
Their biggest piece of advice for couples planning a destination wedding is to get a vision board and map out all the things you want to have, then narrow the list down the things to your must haves. It was really amazing to see all your ideas on the board come together.
