From crossing paths at a sibling's wedding to tying the knot in Cancun, Mexico! Jacee & Garvin had known each other for a few years before they started dating. Jacee and Garvin actually met back in 2021 at Garvin's brother's wedding. They had no idea they would be reunited a few years later and start their forever together in paradise.
The Planning Experience
As a true big-time Christmas fan, Jacee always dreamed of a winter wonderland wedding in her hometown. But after getting engaged in Mexico, it only felt right to tie the knot there, too. To find their dream venue, their talented Certified Destination Wedding Specialist, Jocelyn Batlas, sent them a few different options to look through. After taking price, location, and style into consideration, they fell in love with SLS Playa Mujeres.
The Celebration
They brought their wedding vision to life with upgraded florals and sparkling string lights that added a romantic feel to their big day. They also rented an incredible dance floor where all their guests showed off their best moves and danced the night away.
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding in paradise, they describe it as "stress-free, beautiful, and relaxing." In addition to their special day, they added some exploring to their celebration and got to venture out to Isla Mujeres to shop and discover more of Mexico's beauty.
