The Love Story
It all started at a house party in 2020 with an instant connection for Angel & Eddie! During the madness of the COVID lockdown, their love began to blossom, and they started dating. In 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Eliana, and after four incredible years together, Eddie got down on one knee and asked Angel to continue their love story.
The Planning Experience
A destination wedding was always part of their plans, as Eddie's family is from Jalisco, Mexico, and they wanted to be close to their loved ones. When it came to choosing a resort, they wanted something fun, affordable, and conveniently located near Eddie's family. After discovering that Iberostar Selection Playa Mita had everything they were looking for and more, they knew it was the perfect place to say I do.
The Celebration
For their ceremony, they personalized every moment to make their big day special. From carefully selecting the songs for Eddie's entrance, the bridal party, and Angel's walk down the aisle to writing their own heartfelt vows, every moment felt meaningful. After their ceremony, a live mariachi band played to start off their celebration, while the happy couple snuck away for some portraits. Later, the live music and DJ kept the dance floor packed, while the twinkling lights and light-up dance floor created the perfect setting for their celebration.
The Memories
To sum up their destination wedding experience, they describe it as "unforgettable, fun, and romantic." One of their favorite parts of their celebration was the full wedding itinerary that included a lively welcome drink party at the sunset bar and a delicious brunch with the newlyweds after they tied the knot. "It was nice having all our favorite people together to celebrate our love", recalls Angel and Eddie. They loved their wedding day so much, they are planning on returning for their one-year anniversary.
