BeachesBoth Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo offer scenic beauty, wonderful beaches, and crystal blue water. The corridor region of Los Cabos consists of a 29 kilometer long stretch of beach. It is this strip of beach that is home to most of the new resort development in the area.
ClimateThe coast and lowlands are hot and humid all year. The interior highlands are milder and drier, but can become freezing between December and February. Rainfall is scarce throughout most of the country.
Currency The new peso is the currency of Mexico. The most convenient form of money in Mexico is a major international credit card or debit card. In heavily tourist areas such as Acapulco, Cancún and Cozumel, you can often spend US dollars as easily as pesos at hotels and restaurants.
