Things to Consider when Planning a Wedding in Italy

Things to Consider when Planning a Wedding in Italy

Saying I do surrounded by enchanting scenery in Italy sounds like the ultimate wedding dream, but it does come with some challenges:

  • Hotels in Italy are EP (European Plan), which typically means the quoted rate only covers the cost of the room itself, so your meals and drinks will be an additional cost.
  • The flights to Italy are longer and more expensive from most US and CA vacations.
  • Wedding packages in Italy are not all-inclusive, so you'll have to hire each vendor individually (i.e. florist, wedding planner, caterer, photographer, etc.)
  • The overall cost of a destination wedding in Italy will more than likely be much more expensive than a destination wedding in Mexico or the Caribbean.
