Things to Consider when Planning a Wedding in France

Things to Consider when Planning a Wedding in France

Having your destination wedding in France with the Eiffel Tower and captivating views as your backdrop sounds enchanting, but it's important to note it also comes with a few challenges:

  • Hotels in France are EP (European Plan), which typically means the quoted rate only covers the cost of the room itself, so your meals and drinks will be an additional cost and billed separately.
  • The flights to France are longer and more expensive from most US and CA vacations.
  • Wedding packages in France are not all-inclusive, so you'll have to hire each vendor individually (i.e. florist, wedding planner, caterer, photographer, etc.)
  • The overall cost of a destination wedding in France will more than likely be much more expensive than a destination wedding in Mexico or the Caribbean.
