Kailani - Perched above Hulopo'e Bay, Kailani specializes in contemporary Italian cuisine made from the freshest local and organic ingredients, sourced directly from Hawaii’s fishers and farmers. Served alfresco for lunch and dinner, innovative menus incorporate seasonal offerings that are proudly showcased in Chef Dario Montelvere’s daily specials. Dinner choices include lobster ravioli with local seasonal vegetables and vanilla butter sauce; locally caught smoked ono accompanied by rainbow carrots, baby artichokes and salsa verde; and cappesante e pancetta with scallops and pork belly, candy apple purée and micro celery.
One Forty American Steak, Hawaiian Seafood - This ocean-view restaurant offers breakfast and an extensive steak and seafood dinner menu. With an emphasis on local ingredients, Chef Joseph Yaple showcases prime and wagyu beef from Snake River Farms and local Hawaiian catch, prepared to perfection. Traditional side dishes from a wide selection complement main courses, while an accomplished wine list features a variety of fine labels.

Dining Room - The Dining Room, the acclaimed restaurant at Four Seasons Resort Lanai, The Lodge at Koele, features rustic Hawaiian cuisine guided by a farm-to-table and ocean-to-table concept. The restaurant’s new menu showcases 100% local and sustainable ingredients sourced from throughout the Hawaiian Islands.
The restaurant offers a spectacular three-course tasting menu based on the availability of the freshest and most seasonal ingredients, which may be enjoyed with an optional wine pairing. The à la carte menu features regional appetizers such as Big Island beet terrine, Kona lobster ceviche and North Shore sweetcorn bisque. Main courses include Kahua grass-fed tenderloin, Hawaiian snapper and kampachi, and North Kohala lamb loin, and mouthwatering dessert specialties include pineapple crème brulée and gianduja Waialua chocolate tart.
Terrace - Paying tribute to the stunning upcountry setting of The Lodge at Koele, the Terrace is an American Bistro. Offering a warm, yet casual setting, the Terrace is set overlooking manicured gardens and Reflecting Pond. Executive Sous Chef Junior Ulep incorporates local ingredients alongside worldly treats, creating hearty and flavorful upcountry cuisine, ideal to share over great wine with friends and family.
Sample dishes include: Maui onion soup with aged comtè gratin, braised beef short rib with pearl onions, orange zest and mashed potatoes; Duck leg confit with white bean ragout; and pan-seared island snapper with lemongrass.
Offering evening views of the gardens through the glass doors, or daytime views through the open doors, the Terrace is located on the lobby level. The 76-seat Terrace is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Lounge - Overlooking the sparkling pool with commanding views of the ocean, The Lounge is located in the lower lobby area and offers an unforgettable setting for guests to enjoy sunset cocktails and after dinner drinks and live entertainment. The elegant lounge features a refined cocktail menu with emphasis on house made ingredients, local produce and handcrafted methods, complimented by a world class selection of wines and sparkling wines by the glass.
The Sports Bar - This open-air sports bar with dramatic views of the ocean offers a lively social atmosphere to gather and mingle. Guests can enjoy pool and other table games or relax with their favorite sports program, broadcast on the Lounge's 46-inch (116-centimeter) LCD television.
The Bar - The Bar offers a light menu complemented by creative cocktails and a wide selection of drinks designed to ward off chilly nights in the highlands.
Great Hall - The Great Hall offers daily afternoon tea and a special hot chocolate menu, as well as pupus (appetizers), desserts, specialty cocktails and coffees. In the evenings, local musicians play Hawaiian music or Broadway favorites.
Trophy Room - With shuffleboard, pool, foosball or a variety of other table games available, the Trophy Room is the perfect place to relax. In addition to games, guests can enjoy drinks and snacks while watching their favorite sports program, broadcast on the bar's 46-inch (116-centimeter) LCD television.
Teen Center - Although designed especially for teens, the Surf Shack Teen Center is full of activities and entertainment that the entire family will enjoy. A cyber area features Xbox 360 and Wii consoles with a variety of games to amuse all ages, while an entertainment area comes complete with state-of-the-art sound system, 46-inch LCD television and lounge area. Teen programmes such as beach parties and fishing expeditions are organized on a seasonal basis, introducing participants to various aspects of life in Hawaii. Please contact the Center for details.
Kids for All Seasons - The program offers a full range of organized indoor and outdoor activities for children aged 5 to 12 years. Intended to encourage children to appreciate Lana'i's unique environment, the programme teaches children about Hawaii. They learn about petroglyphs, the spirit of aloha and how the Hawaiian islands were formed. They can even build their own erupting volcano, go hunting for lizards or watch a keiki (child) hula show.
Children are welcome in the day program at any time – no reservations are required. Evening events are offered seasonally and reservations are highly recommended. Customized themed evening events are available for groups of eight or more upon request.
