St. Lucia weddings are said to be the most romantic and idyllic worldwide, so much so that many acclaim it to be INCOMPARABLE.
Rich, cultural heritage and cuisine rank St. Lucia’s diversity amongst the best in the world. The region is known for its mixture of British and French influence as well as its rich volcanic soils.
Despite the fact that the French lost the island after a battle with the British in 1814, St. Lucia has a very strong French cultural influence by way of dance, music and arts. However, the region predominately has a British educational, political and legal structure.
The island is abundant in tropical fruits, such as mangoes and papayas and is said to grow some five different types of bananas. Often, local chefs will use a combination of fresh island produce and seafood to tantalize the taste buds. This transforms weddings in St. Lucia into culinary delights, so much so that the island has gained international recognition for its gastronomic enchantment by being the recipient of several prestigious awards.
St. Lucia weddings are surrounded by spectacular scenery with wildlife and flora reserves, such as Pigeon Island national park, which is a haven for birds, views and beautiful beaches that will simply captivate, so much so that you may find it hard to spend your time anywhere else.
