Curacao needs little introduction to the diving community. They come for the 12 miles of superb reef and a multitude of mapped dives.
About a third of the reef is protected by the Curacao Underwater Marine Park. If diving is your thing, you might want to consider staying

History and shopping combine in equal portions in Willemstad, Curacao's picturesque capital. The gabled Dutch colonial buildings are painted in a soft
pastels and vivid hues, including maize, pink and tangerine. An unusual pontoon footbridge crosses the harbor and swings open for ships. Willemstad
has a stellar shopping reputation with international brands and a good choice of Dutch items.
If you like your sports on top of the water, you'll love the sailing produced by Curacao's steady trades. Beach lovers gravitate to Cas Abao on the west side.
For a change of pace, go horseback ride, mountain biking or play tennis or golf.
For insight into the island's multi-faceted history, visit the Curacao Museum, the Kura Hulanda Museum, and the Jewish Museum. On the west side of Curacao,
tour gracious plantation homes and visit a coastal cave that roars with surf. Way down at the tip of the island, you can visit fishing village of West Point,
a real gem.
