Justin and I would like to thank Destinationweddings.com. When we got engaged we had no idea what we wanted to do for a wedding. My husband came across Destinationweddings.com. He registered us and the rest is history.
When I got in contact with Bev T. we had no idea where we wanted to go. We just knew we wanted to go to a place full of adventure.
Bev suggested Costa Rica! It was the best choice we have ever made.
Costa Rica was the most magical place. The people are super friendly and there is so much to do. We went ziplining in the jungle, saw lava flow from a volcano, ATVed around the beaches and so much more. We stayed at the Barcelo Langosta. The people were wonderful and the accommodations were even more amazing. The wedding planner at the Barcelo was amazing, as well. She handled all of the logistics of the wedding. It was the most special day of our lives!

Within a week of sending an initial e-mail to Destination Weddings, I was matched up with Veronica (because of her expertise dealing
with Canadian brides). She was amazing right from the start. She was amazing right from the start. She listened to my questions
and concerns and never made me feel like I was bothering her (I asked A LOT of questions). She was awesome in helping me find
our perfect resort. She must have sent me information on more than 50 resorts before I chose the Riu Palace Riviera Maya in Playa
del Carmen Mexico. Veronica went above and beyond what I expected of her. Without asking, she actually sent my husband and me as well as all of our guests a refund (a price adjustment because the prices had come down since we had booked). How amazing was it
that she contacted all of us to tell us that we were receiving some money back! She was truly amazing. I really feel like I have a friend in Veronica! I highly recommend her!
Ah, now onto our resort! The gorgeous Riu Palace Riviera Maya, located in the gated community of Playacar in Playa del Carmen Mexico.
To all of the brides and grooms reading this and wondering where to get married...I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!!!! It is
just beyond amazing. I probably spent more than 50 hours researching resorts online, looking at not only which resorts were great
for vacationing, but also, for a wedding! I could not find anyone who could say a bad thing about this resort! I had
complete confidence that this resort would provide us with an unforgettable wedding as well as a memorable trip for our guests and
I was not disappointed!! The food, the staff (I did not pass a single staff member all week who did not greet me with a smile),
the atmosphere, the beach, the cleanliness, as well as just the overall quality of the resort was second to none!! It's a fairly
new resort with a definite European influence (great for backgrounds for wedding pictures!!). My next vacation will be at this resort!!! That's how much we loved it!!
Our wedding experience was better than I expected! The day after we arrived, we had a 30 minute meeting with the wedding planner
to finalize the details. This was so easy and took no time at all!! The wedding planners were extremely professional and I had
no doubt of their abilities to make our ceremony just perfect and it was!! We had our dinner at Chili's, an open-air restaurant
on the beach, which was just perfect! I'm so glad we chose this location!!
Overall, I absolutely loved our wedding experience, both with Veronica and the resort itself!
I am now informing friends of mine who are engaged (or almost) of the great benefits to having a destination wedding. And if
they decide on this route, I will definitely point them in the direction of destinationweddings.com

We would like to thank Susan P., for her great help for planning our wedding. It took alot of time and hardworks planning a wedding! Aruba is definiately a great place for beach wedding. Our wedding was at Palm beach! It was a dream come true! We had the best time and the most precious moments of our lives at Aruba! The weather was perfect, the Marriot hotel stuff was friendly and helpful. we could not have asked for more. All of our guests had a blast!
Working with Destination Weddings was the best decision we made besides choosing Negril, Jamaica as our wedding location!
Bill T. was great! He was there to answer every question and address any concern that arose, and when Bill was away on vacation there was still someone there to assist us. They didn’t miss a beat!
I must say Destination Weddings exceeded our expectations. Everything in Jamaica was great and it was reassuring to know that Destination Weddings was only a phone call away if anything went wrong. The idea of a destination wedding was new to me and my fiance at the time, so we were anxious and impatient. Once we started working with our destination wedding specialist, Amarjit K., the anxiety lessened but we were skeptical about everything. My fiance and I went back and forth with many emails with our specialist about our location. This was frustrating because our friends and family members were also unfamiliar and very apprehensive with the idea of a destination wedding. This was new to our culture and our tradition. Things became a bit heated, but then my fiance and I talked and determined we were going to do what was best for us in terms of our cost, our timing, and the best location for us. We became a little bit selfish. Things were smooth once that happened!
Amarjit booked our wedding with the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and put us in touch with the wedding coordinator, Daniella. Other than the slight language barrier, Daniella took care of every single detail impeccably. In fact, ours was the first traditional South Indian Christian wedding conducted on Riu Palace grounds, and Daniella and her staff were more than eager to meet our every wish.
Eighty-eight guests including family members and close friends enjoyed an amazing week at the Riu Palace together. The guests ranged in ages from toddlers to the sixty-plus crowd. Everyone had a wonderful time.
Our wedding day was flawless. I will always remember it as the perfect day. Our guests will the say the same if you ask them. Everybody was on vacation and relaxed. I recommend the Riu Palace in Cabo San Lucas, and Destination Weddings.
The one piece of advice I can offer is that as a bride and groom you must be diligent in keeping details organized and to stay on top of everything from the beginning. Ask for what you want, because you might just get it! Happy Travels!

This day was a dream come true! Thanks to the endless help of our travel agent, Midge K., that was assigned to us at
DestinationWeddings.com, we were able to find the perfect location and have a point person that all of our guests could contact
for their travel needs. It was very difficult at first to try to research places to have the wedding because there are so many
factors to consider. Midge put a detailed package together for us so we were able to compare and contrast the hotels and pick the right one for us!
There were a few glitches along the way, such as a change in hotels, the declining economy, and the swine flu of course, but Midge and the people from Destination Weddings worked as hard as they could to make sure we were taking care of. I really don't know what we would have done without them! Everything turned out better than we had imagined!
Our wedding day was truly a dream come true! The location and hotel were beautiful and the weather was perfect the entire time.
I really couldn't imagine anything different, being barefoot in the sand with all of our closet friends to marry my true love
seemed almost surreal! It was so nice to have our guests around to celebrate with for longer than just our wedding day. We got
to enjoy hanging out at the swim up bar, have unlimited drinks, enjoy the entertainment and many activities at the resort with
our family and friends. Since people were coming from all over North America, this was the perfect choice to bring everyone together for a vacation and celebration .

It was truly a magical experience. As my husband says, it was the best wedding, best honeymoon, and best family vacation all
wrapped into one. We chose the Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay, Jamaica as our destination. The resort was AMAZING!
I cannot say enough good things about it! The food was delicious, the service was spectacular, and the views were breath taking!

Our wedding coordinator, Roberta, was a joy to work with. She handled everything for us making our planning virtually stress free.
In addition to serving as our personal travel agent and managing the travel of our friends and family, Roberta helped us sort out
the details of the wedding with resort's on-site coordinator. With the help of Roberta and the on-site coordinator, everything
was handled perfectly. The resort took care of all details of the wedding -- the flowers, the music, the officiate, the
reception dinner, the cake, etc.
I would also like to thank Roberta for recommending a local photographer. Brian Nejedly was great to work with. He was such a

It was the BEST experience of my life. I can't imagine our wedding day being any better! It was a PERFECT wedding moon!
Jeff and I got engaged on December 19, 2008. We knew right away that we wanted to have a destination wedding, but we really
were unsure of how to go about planning it. We did some research and came upon destinationweddings.com and almost immediately
decided that their help would be wonderful.
We signed up and could not believe that i wasn't going to cost us a thing in the end. It seemed like that couldn't be true. Having someone help you chose the location of your wedding, book it for you once you had decided, and help facilitate the travel of all your guest ... for free??? As it turns out, that was the case.
It was so nice to have our adviser, Camille, help us decide where we wanted to have it based on some criteria, and then work with
our guests to get everyone there. Camille stayed on top of our friends' and family's needs and concerns and encouraged our guests
that like to procrastinate to go ahead and book (that was my favorite part). Our guests appreciated having someone to answer
their questions about the resort, the things to do around the town, the transfer to and from the airport etc.
It was also very helpful for us because if she wasn't there to take care of all of this, they would have been emailing us ... not what we would have wanted.
In the end, we had about 40 guests and the wedding was magnificent. Like a dream. We told Camille what we wanted, and she found
it for us. If you are going to do a destination wedding, I highly recommend these guys. It is so nice to have someone to go to
when you have a question that needs answering. They are a great company to work with!
Everything with the trip to Mexico and our Wedding were perfect. Excellence Riviera Cancun was amazing. We've never been so
spoiled in our lives. The staff was top notch and catered to our every need. The resort and grounds were beautiful and more than we could have asked for.
We ended up having our ceremony on one of the piers. It was a bit windy but it helped with the heat. Veronica and the staff did
a wonderful job with everything. I can't say enough about the food, both in the restaurants and at our reception. Delicious.
The flights and all of the transfers went very well and were well coordinated. Even with our side trips, the staff and transfers communicated very well and we were on time for everything.
The weather was perfect. Sunny every day but our last. We walked to Puerto Morelos on our last day and got rained on during our
walk, but it was still nice. We were able to enjoy the town and barter with some of the locals.
Our pool/ocean view was amazing. I just can't give enough praise for everything we experienced.
Again, Thank You so much for everything. You did an amazing job and look forward to working with you on an anniversary trip.
Thank you for all your help! The resort was amazing - we absolutely loved it! Our wedding ceremony was more than we ever could
have dreamed of! The best part was that we got to vacation with our guests for 3-days, culminating in them getting to share in
our wedding day! We really got to hang out with each of them through wonderful meals, countless hours lounging by the pool,
snorkeling in the ocean, and competitive volleyball games on the beach! It was such an intimate wedding in such beautiful surroundings!

Hi, this is Debb Richards from Virginia. We had our amazing wedding at Moon Dance Cliffs in Negril, Jamaica.
I would have to say, in the beginning it was pretty intimidating to think about how to search for a venue and to arrange travel
details for us and our guests, but as soon as we began working with the Destination Wedding Travel agent Debbie R., we truly felt
like we had someone to assist with all those details on such a personal basis.
By the time we left for Jamaica, we absolutely had no worries about our travel plans and our stay at this amazing resort. And as
we look back on it, we feel like there couldn't have been a more perfect setting for this special occasion.
Not only does Destination Weddings help the actual couple that's getting married, but they treat all your guests with the same
special care.
I had always dreamed of having a destination wedding. While we were still dating, I had "ok'd" a destination wedding with my
future husband. Since neither of our families was large or attached to having a more traditional wedding, we planned on going to
a warm destination on a beach ... somewhere!
Before we were even engaged I found destinationweddings.com. It was hard for me NOT to sign up and create a wedding webpage BEFORE
the engagement, but I managed to wait. Then in September 2008, Jeff proposed. The next day I was on the phone with my coordinator
Michele, trying to pick a place. She gave me invaluable help in choosing. I haven't traveled much but had a good idea what I
wanted, but not any idea where to find it. It was so hard to navigate all the resort websites to find which ones WERE as good as
they looked. Michele helped me find the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico. It was perfect, it had something for all of my
guests (singles, young children, grandparents, and couples). They are also 'all inclusive' and have beach and poolside service
which was a must in my book, as well as a WONDERFUL wedding package. It was great to have Michele there to help all of my guests
book their trips. My 14 guests arrived without a hitch. I also really appreciated the ability to pay for the
wedding in installments, since we didn't have all the money up front.
June arrived before we knew it. The wedding week was perfect. We spent time with our family and time with each other. The
on-site planner took care of all the wedding details. We went over everything in one meeting and it was set for the ceremony.
I didn't have to worry about a thing and now I can't imagine getting married any other way! We can't wait to go back for anniversaries!
I just wanted to send some pictures from Nate and my wedding and tell you how PERFECT of a time we had.
When we first arrived it was so much fun because they had a sign welcoming the wedding party and we were whisked off to another checkout only to find out our ENTIRE party was upgraded to VIP, so we had our own private check-in/lounge area and private pool and section on the beach and the VIP villas were amazing. Nate and I were automatically upgraded to a huge suite with a jacuzzi and butler.
The service at the Melia Caribe Tropical was fantastic. Since we were VIP we had golf carts come pick us up whenever we called and take us to the beach. It was a pretty long walk to the beach so the carts made it nice. The grounds were so beautiful and very well maintained. It made a fifteen minute walk to the beach quite peaceful. It was like walking through tropical gardens everywhere you went.
I didn't get to meet with the wedding coordinator til the day before the wedding which kind of stressed me out but once I met with her I was so at ease. She knew exactly how to make things work; I got exactly what I wanted and it only took like thirty minutes of my time.
The food in the DR is a little different but all in all it was really good. With VIP we had a private restaurant - you didn't need reservations so we ate there for dinner the first night. It was a nice option instead of the buffet. We actually ended up eating there for lunch everyday because it is right by the pool so very easy to access.
My whole wedding party was on one side of the pool and Nate and I were on the other which was fabulous to have a little bit of privacy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to future brides; the service was amazing, the grounds beautiful with tons of options for locations for the wedding. Even the walkways and lobbies were fantastic - you pretty much walked on beautiful marble everywhere you went.
We were treated like royalty. The wedding decorations and setup were EXACTLY what I wanted. The wedding itself was PERFECT and it did help that EVERYONE in my party had a great time and the Melia Caribe Tropical made the trip as smooth and as fun as possible. I appreciate YOUR help in getting all of the flights arranged and booking the Melia Caribe Tropical. It made the traveling so easy! Nate and I really appreciate everything. Our wedding was better than we ever could have imagined. Here are a few photos, I have tons if you could imagine.
My (now) husband and I knew we wanted to get married on the beach, just the two of us, but just could not find the perfect place. I ran across Destination Weddings using a Google search and decided to call them to see if they could suggest a location.

Everything was perfect. Our room was amazing and only a few feet from the beach! A resort employee told us the room we were in is often requested and is a guest favorite. I just wanted to take a moment to let your company know what a wonderful job he did. He was so assertive to our needs, quick

I got engaged in February 2008 and for three months I worked with three different travel agents, as well as did research on my
own to find the right destination for our wedding. The travel agents were honestly of no help at all and were nonresponsive
or suggested resorts that were totally out of our price range or were much too big. We had told them very clearly that we wanted something small.
Someone found destinationweddings.com and suggested I try them. For $50 that would be used toward our travel, I figured, 'what do
I have to lose?' I was put in touch with Sally M. a few days after my initial contact with someone to ask a few questions before
I went forward with joining the site. I had an in depth conversation with Sally and told her exactly what we were looking for.
In a matter of 2-3 days she had emailed me four recommendations and out of those first four she sent us, we chose the one we would
get married at (Sunset at the Palms in Negril, Jamaica). It was absolutely perfect and just want we wanted. A small all
inclusive resort, on the beach, easy to travel to from the US, in the right price range and offered wedding packages. Throughout
the planning with Sally from May until our December wedding, Sally made sure to take care of me and at times calm me down. I
was a bit of a frantic bride and Sally assured me that everything would be fine and she told me on several occasions 'let me
handle all the problems and refer anyone who calls you about the wedding to call me'. It was such a relief not to have to deal
with everyone's questions, concerns and complaints! She arranged everyone's travel and hotel and was totally organized. We all received
our travel documents in perfect order and in plenty of time before the trip. Destinationweddings.com and more importantly Sally
were honestly my saving graces. I highly recommend destinationweddings.com to anyone who is planning a wedding outside of the US. And if you have the opportunity to work with Sally, you are very lucky!
My husband and I were married on the beach at Sandals Montego Bay in October 2008. Our Destination Weddings consultant made
planning the wedding a dream! She went out of her way to make sure we got exactly what we wanted for the best price. She even sent
us a beautiful, engraved silver photo album as a wedding present. We had some trouble with my father-in-law's room and our best
man's flight, but a quick phone call to our consultant/travel agent/planner (I'm not sure what to call her; she did it all) and
she had the situation straightened out. She couldn't do anything about getting the groomsmen there faster, but she negotiated a discount on their room rates for the hours they lost at the resort!
Our wedding and honeymoon were wonderful! I would recommend a destination wedding to anyone and everyone. We were able to save
money, have a gorgeous ceremony, and share it all with our close family and friends. If I had it all to do over, I wouldn't
change anything, especially my decision to work with destinationweddings.com.
Well we have just returned from the best week of our lives! We just got married at the Dreams Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican
Republic on August 7, 2008. We couldn't have asked for a more stress-free, relaxing wedding. I would definitely recommend anyone who

When Anil and I started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted it to be a destination wedding. After doing some research on the internet, we decided that Mexico would be both gorgeous and affordable for the 25 friends and family members who would be attending our wedding.
We signed up with DestinationWeddings.com and were quickly contacted by our Destination Wedding Specialist, Shelli N. Shelli was great at providing information and helped us decide which resorts in Mexico would be the best fit for us and our guests.
She did a wonderful job helping our guests who are spread throughout the United States coordinate their travel plans to the Riviera Maya, Mexico. We had initially been a little skeptical about using DestinationWeddings.com, but it turned out to be the best decision we made when planning our wedding.
Our trip was split between two resorts. The first week was spent with our family and friends at the Grand Palladium all
inclusive resort in the Rivera Maya, south of Playa del Carmen. It was a great choice and everyone was able to relax and enjoy themselves. Our wedding on the beach was perfect and the resort did a great job of making our night both special and memorable.
Anil and I traveled back up the coast to the second resort, the El Dorado Royale all inclusive resort, for our honeymoon.
We splurged on a Casita Suite and spent our days lounging in the sun. The food was delicious and there was always someone catering to our every need.
We had such a great time in Mexico that we are already working with Shelli to plan our one year anniversary trip back to the Grand Palladium resort!

Our wedding and honeymoon in St. Lucia by far exceeded any expectations we could ever have. It was the best vacation we have ever taken! I am so glad that we found Destinations Wedding, and our travel agent, Camille H. Camille was fabulous to work with -
she was on top of every detail, and was always quick to get information. I wasn't sure what type of wedding ceremony or reception I wanted, so we bounced around many ideas. Camille worked with a wonderful wedding coordinator on St. Lucia named Simone C.,
who also made this an amazing wedding. Camille was always very pleasant to work with, and extremely patient with our new ideas! It was so easy to plan this wedding - so simple!
A few weeks before our departure, Camille received word from Ladera (our honeymoon resort), that we would need to move during our stay, as another wedding had taken over the hotel. After negotiating with Ladera, Camille was able to secure a new destination resort
for us - Jade Mountain in St. Lucia! Between Ladera, Jade Mountain, and Camille, the parties had come to an agreement to move us for all 7 nights to Jade Mountain! A huge thank you to Camille on this one - she made a potentially ugly situation turn out perfect!
The Coco Palm, where the wedding party "partied" the first week was a perfect selection for the small group of friends and family. We had immediate access to the beach, great restaurants, and plenty of bars for the evening hours. Many guests thanked us for
not selecting a small resort tucked away on the hillside - they appreciated the ability to venture out around the island for themselves. The Coco Palm is also where we hosted a lovely dinner for our friends. Fantastic food - and excellent ambiance!
I can't recommend Ti Bannane enough!
The wedding itself was an amazing event. We met the catamaran in a nearby marina, and headed off down to Marigot Bay for the wedding ceremony. The professional photographer was on board - we are so glad that we hired someone to help capture this amazing day!
The wedding ceremony was on board the catamaran - a very special moment for all of us on board. Then on we went to The Edge Restaurant in Rodney Bay. The catamaran dropped us off directly at the restaurant (what service!) - and dinner was waiting for us.
The Edge Restaurant was a perfect setting for our intimate dinner. The restaurant seated us directly on the water, which really added to the romantic ambiance. The lighting was perfect, and the food was amazing. The waitstaff never let our drinks go empty -
the service was perfect! We cut our wedding cake, popped the champagne, and found our way to the cigars - all with the helpful hand of Chef Bobo of The Edge Restaurant. What an amazing day we had...
And to think the honeymoon week could be better! Jade Mountain, the following week, was a perfect escape - on the same island! We can't say enough about the staff and service at Jade Mountain. Every detail of our sanctuary (room) was perfect - and the view
of the Pitons was incredible. We had just gotten scuba certified before arriving in St. Lucia - so we made daily use of the dive shop located on property. They are a great drive crew! Everything about our stay at Jade Mountain was amazing. Our honeymoon was perfect.
We missed our connecting flight in Atlanta on our way home, but that didn't even phase us. Our two weeks in St. Lucia were fantastic - amazing - indescribable. I hope that all destinations bride have a dream vacation that we just had. I'm so lucky to have
worked with such professionals to make this happen, notably: Camille, Simone, and everyone at Jade Mountain.

My husband Branden and I were married in Nassau, Bahamas at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort. Debbie R. was our Destination Wedding Coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful. She handled every question and detail, not only for us but for our families as well.
She also communicated with the Sandals representatives so that we were not stressed in any way. I don't know what we would have done without her.
The Bahamas was beautiful! The Resort was incredible, gorgeous and very relaxing. We were completely relaxed and pampered for the
three days before the wedding. The staff members were amazing and the food was great. Once we were there the Sandals Wedding consultant took over.
Our wedding was perfect. Perfect weather, perfect setting and perfect sunset. We got to spend the most important day of our lives with our closest family and friends on beautiful beach...we couldn't have asked for more.
A year and a half before our wedding date my then fiancée Chalynn and I started discussing where we wanted to have our weeding and
we had only two requirements. It must be some where tropical and no more then six hours away. I researched different options
and various travel agents and I was intrigued by what Destination Weddings had to offer. What really appealed to us was the
Easy Payment Plan as well as wedding website. After much trepidation we decided to jump in and pay the very reasonable deposit to get the ball rolling. Looking back, this was the best wedding decision we could have every made!
We were contacted by our Destination Wedding specialist BJ G., and from there every thing became 99.9% stress free. After hearing
how we pictured our dream wedding, BJ sent us a number of options that fit our desired location and travel time. After receiving information on various resorts, we decided on the all inclusive Dreams Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Dreams website was very
informative and the photos of their amenities were spectacular.
By shopping around through various carriers, BJ was able get us an excellent flight rate. BJ considered not only flying out of
the closest airport but other airports in our area as well and ending up saving us hundreds of dollars by flying out of a
neighboring city. Not only did BJ save us on flight cost, we took her recommendation and added travel insurance to our hotel rate. This in turn also saved us hundreds of dollars when our hotel rate dropped considerably.
BJ’s most impressive act however was when an issue came up that the wedding deposit mailed to Mexico went missing. Our bank
notified us that our certified check had been cashed in Mexico however through e-mail correspondence our wedding coordinator stated they had not received payment. Soon after that e-mail correspondence, a hurricane was heading into the area and we were unable
to contact anyone at the resort to attempt to clear up the matter. BJ was able to get a hold of a concierge at the resort who was able to research the matter, and it was determined that the resort had in fact received the check and it was simply a posting error.
Before our travel date BJ sent us, along with our guest who book through Destination Weddings, travel documents as well as helpful tips about our destination along with information on whom to contact upon arrival for transfers as well as excursions.
All we had to do was show-up at the airport with documents in hand and the rest was taken care of.
BJ put us into contact with our wedding planner who provided us with wedding options that covered everything from rehearsal,
wedding, reception locations; food, flower, drink, music, and photographer options. Everything was handled via e-mail with our
Dreams wedding planner sending photos and power points of choices so we could have a visual of what options to choose from. One
major area of concern was that it sometimes took a number of weeks to get responses back from our Dreams wedding planner. Also
over the course of our first communication with Dreams, we ended up having no less then four different wedding planners; the last one assigned to us only 3 days before the wedding! However our wedding planner had all our records in order, she reviewed everything
with us to make sure we were at ease, and walked us though the motions of how our rehearsal, wedding, and reception would take place. Everything was perfect. Our wedding turned out better then we could have every hoped or imagine and the staff left us 110%
total satisfied. BJ along with the resort staff definitely delivered our Dream Wedding. Thank you BJ for recommending Dreams Cancun, we will definitely be returning in the future and definitely using BJ Guttridge for our travel arrangements.

I have ever attended. All of our guest echo our feelings in regards to Destination Weddings and my unmarried groomsmen have
already decided this is how they want to get married as well. Whereas most couples are stressed out days before their weddings, Chalynn and I were relaxing on a beach in front of beautiful blue water watching sunsets.

Sue also went to bat for us several times in dealing with the wedding coordinators at the hotel. They are very relaxed there and
Sue was insistent to help get details arranged to ease our minds. We were very grateful for that. Sue’s constant care and continuous contact with the resort really helped in so many ways.
Our guests had a great time - Sue arranged their travel as well! She went above and beyond to arrange for a wheelchair for
our grandfather who attended the wedding. Sue stayed in contact even while we were at the resort to make sure all was going well and that we and all of our guests were happy.
Could we have done it without DWT? Maybe. Would it have been as easy and turned out so wonderful? Absolutely not!

I knew at the very first moment that I became engaged I wanted a destination wedding, I just did not know where. Therefore,
I relied on the experts of DestinationWeddings.com to guide me to the dream location. That location was the Gran Bahia Principe
Tulum resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Our travel expert Deb R. was awesome! She made the planning process easy. In fact, all of
our guest were extremely impressed with how she handle every one's concerns and travel arrangements in a timely matter.
Once my husband and I arrived at the resort, we were very much impressed with the resort grounds. Our guest had the opportunity to
stay at any of three hotels (Tulum, Akumal, or Coba). This was great idea because as a group we were able to spend time at each of
the hotels. There was trolley that transported us to each hotel and to the shopping district. We were basically in our own little
town. We did not have to leave the grounds for anything. The staff was very attentive. We give a huge thanks to the Tulum's front desk associate, Edgar.
What can I say about the wedding day, it was absolutely PERFECT! We had a small ceremony with sixteen guest at the hotel
gazebo overlooking the beach and the ocean. The view was breathtaking. Our wedding coordinator Jazmin captured all of our wedding ceremony details and the photographer Joe was very creative.

I would like to thank Karyn from DW for a exemplary job in making my daughter's wedding in Cancun a masterpiece. Karyn went
well beyond any expectations I had for a wedding planner, down to making sure the kids birth certificates were translated to
Spanish. Karyn has an excellent rapport with the staff at the hotel we chose (Gran Caribe Royal Cancun) and our evening wedding by

We had a blast at our destination wedding in Costa Rica. Having
two completely different backgrounds we decided to have a Destination
wedding on November 3, 2007 in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Sue R. was our coordinator and she was spectacular,
she had me calm and together every step of the way. Sue

Having a wedding is very important in a couples life

in Kansas so we wanted to definitely get married right on the beach, barefoot. Our dreams came true! One call with Pamela at DW was all it took. She searched for the best resort for exactly what we wanted. After we finally narrowed down our choices,
we chose Secrets Capri in Riviera Maya Cancun, Mexico. What a gorgeous resort! The wedding coordinator there, Alejandra was

My husband Jake and I wanted to do something different than all the traditional weddings we had been to in the past. Something small, intimate, and something our friends and family would truly enjoy.
We live in Minnesota so we loved the idea of a blue ocean and white sand on our wedding day. When we first decided to do a

We got married at the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We had about 30 of our closest friends and family join us for our adventure. It was so fun to spend almost an entire week with everyone!
The ceremony, flowers, food, cake and everything was more than we ever imagined! We had the time of our lives and couldn't have done it with out the help of Deb Ryan and Destination Weddings!
We knew early on that we wanted to have a destination wedding. I don’t do well with a lot of small details that are important traditions in a typical wedding; therefore, my husband and I decided to do something that would fit
“us.” My husband had previously lived in Hawaii, which gave me the idea of
getting married in such a beautiful location. Also, because our families and many friends don’t live where we live, they were
going to have to travel to our wedding anyway. Therefore, we wanted to give everyone a nice place to travel to where they could combine our wedding with a vacation.
Rene, our destination wedding specialist, helped us decide on a good package for everyone. Getting quotes that included several different hotels helped us narrow down our prospects with ease. We even gave our guests a more affordable option as well.
Coordination of everyone’s travel was great. Everyone arrived on the same day within the same general timeframe with the exception
of one person who arrived late that same night due to a cancelled flight. We had guests from Mississippi, Michigan, Maryland,
Alabama, and North Carolina; therefore, planning that for everyone was a challenge but a success.
Our wedding was truly beautiful!! Everyone enjoyed the picture-perfect scenery in Hawaii and loved the luau reception. The
sunset cruise the night before was nice as well. Having a wedding package (i.e. minister, flowers, photographer, cake, decorations, music) was exactly what I needed.
The hotels we stayed at for both our pre-wedding activities and our honeymoon were great!! One of the destination weddings
related companies was at each hotel to provide any extra assistance (i.e. travel back to the airport times, tours, etc.).
We just want to thank Rene and Destination Weddings for being part of our special time together!!

Our names are Hayley and Eric and we are from Atlanta, Georgia. We always knew that we wanted to get married in St. Lucia. We have heard so many wonderful stories about the island and how beautiful it was so it was easy for us to make a decision on the island. The only concern that we had was “how does a couple plan such a wedding?” I researched on the internet and found “destinationweddings.com”. That was the best decision that we could have made! Recently returning from our dream wedding at the RIU Palace Macao resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on February 28th 2009, we wanted to take some time to express our deepest thanks to our destination weddings coordinator Karyn for making it all possible.
The month before the wedding we ran into some rare and unexpected difficulties with the corporate resort coordinator. Karyn reassured us and guided us through the crisis, ensuring us it would all work out fine and truly going to extra mile to make sure our special day went off as planned. Thanks to her, travel impressions and destination weddings, the issue was resolved and everything turned out amazing. The level of service provided was absolutely beyond expectation. Having someone with your best interests in mind is the only way to go about planning a destination wedding. Karyn helped us find a resort on the island that went beyond our expectations, and really made the whole experience magical. The all inclusive resort was fabulous and our wedding coordinators Juliana and Magnolia were wonderful.
A few of our guests opted to not use Destination Weddings for their travel and if we had it to do all over again, we would have made that a stipulation of guests coming to our wedding. Everyone who booked through Karyn had a wonderful travel experience, a few of those who chose another vendor or to book it on their own had a less than stellar experience.

Even, before we were engaged we knew our wedding would take place on the beach. We had an idea of what we wanted and dreamed of, and with the help of Destination Weddings those dreams came true.
I work in the marketing and events field, but let me tell you planning your wedding in a different country can be exciting and confusing at the same time. There are a lot of questions, preplanning, decisions, and much, much more. Jane R. our Wedding Planner helped put all of those concerns in order, into action, and most importantly into a reality.
Our wedding took place on January 31, 2009, and was hosted at the Excellence Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. I would recommend this resort and any of its affiliates to any bride and groom. We don’t have one single complaint from our wedding. It was absolutely perfect. From the choices in ceremony, reception, location, decorations, and even hair and makeup – everything was better than I could have planned in the States. The Photography – speaks for itself. We were a bit leery at first, but the photographer blew us away with his talent. And we returned home with memories that are timeless and classic. The resort itself was immaculate, food amazing, and spa a must on your travel plans. Our guests and ourselves are already ready to return.
All of this at a fraction of the cost to what it would have cost to have a traditional wedding. So, if you are a bride or groom reading our words, don’t even think about leaving this site without asking for help with your wedding plans. It is a must for any engaged couple looking to travel and say I do!
I don't even know how to express in words my gratitude for all your help. Everything was PERFECT from beginning to end at the
Ocean Coral and Turquesa in Puerto Morelos. It was honestly better than I even dreamed. The travel, transfers, hotel,
service, staff ... and especially Ana ... were incredible. Each event was awesome and went off without a hitch. Every single
person was beyond happy and had an incredible time. I will teasure the memories of the experience forever, and I know
everyone else will too.

Planning a wedding can be a very time consuming and stressful process, but getting married in paradise was so worth it! We
were married in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in December and it was more than we ever expected.
Camille H. was our DW Specialist and she was amazing! From the very start, she helped us plan and implement all of our wishes.
She responded to all calls and emails quickly and made all of our travel arrangements for us - even putting our family on the
same flight, all next to each other.
Once we picked our destination, the resort and Destination Weddings placed us with Yvonne and Erica as our wedding planners, and
they were PERFECT! We have never met such wonderful and hard working people! They made the entire trip, as well as the wedding day, amazing.
Once all of our guests arrived, we went out to dinner every night at the resort, and did so many activities during the days! We
all went deep sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, went on a pirate ship sunset cruise, and a lot more!
Our wedding took place on the beach at sunset - which was the most perfect time for the photography. It was beautifully decorated
with rose petals, white linens, and a chuppa. We had a mariachi band play during the ceremony, then our wedding mix played through
the speakers as we all danced in the sand under the stars. They brought out fabulous appetizers and drinks for our guests while
we took our pictures, and the staff was so sweet and accommodating.
After the wedding, we had a small reception at the Steak House. The food was amazing, as well as the service - everyone went out
of their way to please us, and were so kind. After dinner, we all went out to downtown Cabo and had the best time! When we
returned, they had our room decorated and a gift basket for us as well.
All in all, this was the best experience ever. We would not change one thing about it - it was perfect. We strongly suggest doing
a destination wedding. Not only was it beautiful, fun, and relaxing, but it was very affordable! Our money went a lot further
in Mexico, so we were able to attain many amenities, yet still keep within our budget.
My husband Matt and I recently returned from our dream wedding at Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico.
It was truly paradise. The day could not have turned out more perfectly.
We had about 50 guests join us in our celebration of love. Camille H. was our wedding coordinator and she was absolutely fabulous.

Our wedding was held on December 4, 2008 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We had an absolutely wonderful time and experience.

The wedding itself was perfect, it was held at 4 pm on the beach, the weather turned out to be fantastic, and after the ceremony
we had our photos done. From there we booked "La Barcaza Restaurante", a boat where we had our reception, speeches, and dances -
it was a great idea and very well liked by all the guests (a great way to say thank you). After the boat we headed to the resort
disco and danced the night away.
Our destination specialist, Danny A., couldn't have been better. I have already recommended him to people who are interested in
having a destination wedding, at the same time I told them about the DestinationWeddings.com website. All of my guest that did
deal with him had nothing but good things to say. He was extremely professional. Danny was great at getting back to me when I sent
him emails, and he always answered them the best he could (and if he didn't know the answer he told me that he would find out and
get back to me .... and he always did). He did such a good job of contacting and planning everything beforehand that we didn't
even have to think about contacting him while we were in the Dominican Republic, a very good feeling.

My husband and I used DestinationWeddings.com to book our wedding at Dreams Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The service offered
by both our Destination Weddings Specialist, Shelli N., and our Wedding Coordinator, Diana, was outstanding! 6 out of 5 stars.
Both my husband and I are attorneys, and as such, we did not have a great deal of time to invest in planning a wedding.
Shelli was terrific. She was easy to correspond with via email and paid attention to every last detail. I have to admit,
both my mother and I were probably not the easiest people to deal with. We made plans, changed plans, and asked about
1,000 questions, all of which were thoughtfully and quickly responded to by Shelli. Shelli also did a phenomenal job
finding great deals. Our guests received the absolute best price quotes from DestinationWeddings.
We also found the website to be extremely helpful. Both for people to get travel information and to find out information about
myself and my husband and our wedding. The site was also easy to use and store guest information. I actually printed out our
guest list from our destination weddings site and used it to mail thank you notes and Christmas cards!
Dreams Resort was by far the most pleasurable resort experience I have ever had. I have stayed at a number of five star hotels
and this by far surpasses them all. The staff at the Dreams Resort was EXTREMELY friendly -- especially considering this
was an all inclusive resort. The food was great. The room service was outstanding. You could order something any time
of day or night and the food was always delicious and speedy.
As for our wedding coordinator, she was GREAT!!!!! She was also extremely easy to get hold of, and catered to our every need.
My parents are both vegetarian and required unusual menu items. Diana was able to assist my parents in their menu selections,
and even helped prepare a vegetarian dinner for my husband's sister -- who I did not know was also on a vegetarian diet -- at
the LAST, and I mean the LAST minute.
Our room was also decorated so beautifully on our wedding night. We took pictures of everything in the room because we were so impressed.
We loved the resort so much that we are already considering going back for our one year anniversary. Dreams Resort truly made our wedding a special day.
A Destination Wedding is truly the way to go if you want to save money and have the most beautiful wedding. Phillip and I
were a little skeptical about it at first, yet when we started talking to Ellen we felt more at ease. We went over several
locations and details. I think we changed our minds a dozen times. We just could not decide where we wanted to get married.
Her patience was outstanding. She was constantly available for us when we needed her. She called numerous resorts and answered
all of our questions.
We finally decided to go with Dreams Resort in Punta Cana. It is a beautiful resort in the Dominican Republic. We were welcomed
with champagne and fruit. The customer service was excellent. They treat you like royalty. We loved the food and drinks. There
was always something fun to do at any given time. We had about 40 people in our group. This idea brought us all together for
our special moment. We couldn't have asked for a better time and location. We chose to get married on the beach. We all
went barefoot in the sand. It had rained a little right before the ceremony but cleared up right on time. We even had a rainbow
for extra luck. Our photographer was phenomenal. We just went with the Ultimate Wedding Package and they provided it all. We
were amazed by the talent.
This trip brought everyone together. We all went on a Safari tour to learn more about the natives. We also enjoyed floating
around in the pool and hanging out on the beach. It was almost like a family reunion. No one had any complaints except for when
it was time to leave. Everyone wants to go back! They all thanked us for having a destination wedding. It was different,
yet perfect. It was the most romantic time of our lives.
If you want a stress free and absolutely amazing time, do a destination wedding. All of our friends planning a wedding are
stressed. Some are even thinking about changing to a destination wedding. We hardly had to do a thing and it was worth it. We

After attending a destination wedding in Ocho Rios, Jamaica in 2007, Brian and I knew that we wanted to have a destination
wedding of our own. When we got engaged, we immediately thought of wedding coordinator Judy H. at DestinationWeddings.com.
Judy had handled our friends' wedding and had done a fantastic job; we knew we could trust her with our special day as well.
Judy patiently and knowledgeably handled all our questions, helping us to choose a suitable location and a resort that was within
our budget. We finally settled on the Clubhotel RIU Negril in Negril, Jamaica. And we were NOT disappointed! The resort and
wedding were absolutely wonderful. The facilities were beautiful, the staff was remarkable, and the locals were beyond
friendly. It was the perfect blend of casual and exotic.
In addition to serving as our personal travel agent and managing the travel of our friends and family, Judy helped us sort out
the details of the wedding with resort's on-site coordinator. With the help of Judy and the on-site coordinator, everything
was handled perfectly. The resort took care of all details of the wedding -- the flowers, a live steel-drum band, the officiant,
the reception-dinner, etc. We even rented the disco with a bartender and DJ after dinner to give it a real reception feel!
The resort managed everything expertly.
The DestinationWeddings.com website was fantastic, too. Not only was it easy to use, it provided us with a central location to
track the travel arrangements of our guests. We knew who had booked, when they were arriving, and when they were departing!
I'm sure that if we hadn't chosen DestinationWeddings.com and had left our guests to book on their own, we wouldn't have had
half the participation that we did. Over 30 adults made the trip to Negril to be there for our special day!

Dave and I decided to elope in a big way. But we didn't want the hassle of making the decisions and handling details from far
away.
I actually started to look for air travel, cruises, hotel accommodations, and resorts we could get away to where they would
set us up with a wedding and honeymoon, but the time it was taking, and the coordination involved was taking hours I just didn't
have. The prices weren't so great etiher. I finally bought some sort of Bridal magazine and happened upon an ad
for DestinationWeddings.com, and as they say ... the rest is blissful history.
Actually I can say that now. I sent an email, filled out a form, and pretty much everything was handled from there.
We brought our clothes! Myrtis was so gracious about our details, and asking what we wanted so that we got that and more!
The hotel the night before was nice, the transportation to and from the boat was convenient, but the wedding ... it was
so spectacular. Romantic, and beautiful and just so put together. The ship's staff made us feel as though there were just a
few of us on board! So many knew who we were right away, and they remembered how we liked things immediately. Meals were
outstanding, and plentiful, our excursions were fun, and the art auction is a do not miss event! The weather was perfect in
October, and the ship's temperature was always comfortable as well. There was so much to do, we couldn't take it all in.
From start to finish, our wedding and honeymoon were a dream come true, cliche as that is. We want to do a
cruise again, as soon as we can.
I don't know why anyone would want to have a traditional wedding after having a destination wedding!
My husband and I are from Oklahoma. When my husband and I got engaged we quickly decided that we wanted to do a destination wedding.
Neither of us has much family and we couldn't warrant a big hometown wedding. I got online and found destination weddings.

beyond for us. I couldn't have asked for an easier, stress-free wedding. We were married in St. Lucia on October 9th, 2008 at the
Sandals Grande Lucian. It was beautiful and perfect, the staff at Sandals took care of everything for us and couldn't have been
nicer or more helpful. We had a wonderful time and we can honestly say that we enjoyed our wedding!

could make things difficult to realize. Working with Destination Weddings was a great decision on our part. We were assigned
Kimberly, our DW Specialist, who was able to steer us in the right direction and was there to help provide guidance as needed
in planning everything -- from island selection, choice of hotel, travel reservations, and obtaining a local wedding planner in
Saint Martin.
Kimberly assembled a fine team on the island to help us: Marouschka, the Westin Hotel Event Manager, and Maressia, the

Having a destination wedding was the best decision we could have ever made! Our day was truly beautiful!
We were a bit skeptical in the beginning considering all of our family and friends would not be able to make it. Though it really meant a lot to us to go back to the country where we met to be married. After finding Destination Weddings and speaking with Roberta we knew we were making the right decision. As there seemed to be so many resort options she helped us to narrow them down and we chose Couples San Souci. We loved the property and the staff, everyone was very friendly. She was great at making sure our guests had the proper accommodations and she was very patient with them to make sure they understood their travel plans.
Nadia, the wedding coordinator on the property was awesome! I was in touch with her via email in the months leading up to the wedding. She was always calm with their famous "No Problem" attitude. I was a bit nervous about things being that I was doing all my planning from afar. She made the planning process stress free and simple. I found an awesome photographer online. He captured the day perfectly. Our wedding day was perfect! We, along with our guests, had a fabulous time!

I was very happy with the way everything went. Everything was beyond perfect. I liked the ability to explore -- the beach was perfect for the kids to swim in, and the view of the arch and lover's beach was spectacular! Like Jake's Aunt Kathy said, ME Cabo was such a nice swanky place with always something going on. She described the style of the hotel as "Zen" compared to the rest of the hotels we passed on the shuttle that were sort of that "mock adobe fiesta" look. Also, with the amount of people I had it was nice to be in a place that wasn't huge so it'd be easy to find and run into people.
The food for our wedding was excellent. Jennifer, the coordinator from the resort, was a doll to work with. She hooked me up with a fabulous hair and makeup stylist and a guitar and flutist duo for my ceremony. The food was excellent both at the cocktail and the reception, and everyone was so accommodating. The spa is amazing as well!
The honeymoon was at Occidental Grand Papagayo. I loved the place! You could tell it was a bit older, but kept up: beautiful view, nice accommodations and the friendliest people. There's an activities desk there to plan everything that you can't get from the resort and the food and drink was good and plentiful. We met a lot of nice people when we got there and hung out with three other couples we met while there. We even saw a couple weddings while we were there.
My overall experience with my destination wedding was fabulous. Everyone that was with us had a wonderful time and some thought our wedding was the most beautiful they had ever seen. It was just beyond perfect. Definitely an experience I'll never forget, and I know that I was way less stressed than I would've been with a traditional wedding!
We knew we always wanted a destination wedding and seeing 2 weddings abroad confirmed that it could be something that was actually easy enough to do. It just requires a lot of ADVANCE planning and figuring out logistics. We knew we weren't interested in a state-side wedding because of the amount of work that goes into it and ultimately it becomes only a one-day event. We wanted something that would last a week. We calculated that our expenditures for 34 people (including ourselves) for one week of various of activities and MANY more memories would equal to one wedding day of 100+ people.

Our wedding took place on May 3, 2008 at Breezes Runaway Bay, Jamaica. The location was perfect and the weather was
absolutely perfect. The ceremony took place in the beach Wedding Chapel, the only one located on the island, so we had a
beautiful beach background with great ocean views. This location gave us a little of both -- the chapel's resemblance of
a traditional church wedding mixed with a dreamy outdoor beach wedding. The reception took place under the wedding gazebo,
which was decorated perfectly. This day was absolutely perfect and offered everything we could ask for!

Your personal touch made our wedding day very special.
It has been over four months since our wedding and my husband and I are still glowing from our beautiful trip and perfect wedding. We wanted to provide a relaxing atmosphere with lots of fun for our guests. We contacted Sue Allen to help us select the perfect island for a price that would allow all of our friends and family a chance to go. We chose Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, and 50 guests were able to join us. Sue helped to arrange everyone's schedule, bringing 50 people down from all different places and at all different times. She helped to calm our nerves when passports were late ensuring that all the guests would arrive -- and they did!
Our wedding was perfect without much planning. The wedding coordinator in the D.R. took our ideas and created a beautiful day for us and our guests. The wedding was at 4pm on a gazebo covered in flowers with groom and groomsmen waiting. The bridesmaids and I were followed up the aisle by a Caribbean trio with beautiful flowers in hand and in our hair. The wind posed a problem at first for location, but became a blessing from the heat. The pictures followed the ceremony, very quick (which was nice) and turned out amazing. Just take a look. Our reception was held on a patio above the resort just as the sun began to set, with an open bar and a four course meal. We played our own music which the staff really enjoyed. We were treated like royalty with the entire staff recognizing our wedding and sending us their congratulations.
Our guests became so close and have kept in touch since the trip with new friendships and memories to follow. We learned to be patient with island time but it all paid off in the end!! The trip went too fast but gave us a time we will never forget and an opportunity we may never have again to have such close friends and family in one beautiful place at one time. What a wonderful way to begin our new life!!

The only three requirements we had for our wedding was that it would take place on a beautiful tropical beach,

Our destination wedding all started with the help from our incredible specialist, Sharon K. She was an amazing source of
information and was very patient throughout the whole process. We must have changed our destination 5 times before finally
putting money down and booking at Couples Swept Away. We would absolutely recommend that anyone entertaining the idea of
a destination wedding, absolutely use the services of this wonderful website!
Our wedding took place on the gorgeous beach at Couples Swept Away, in Negril, Jamaica, on Thursday, June 12th, 2008. The ceremony
was at 3pm. The whole day was absolutely perfect. We were lucky to have some clouds to shield us from the hot Jamaican sun
during the ceremony. There were a few showers that passed over about an hour before the ceremony, but that didn't pose any
problem. There were also some showers that passed over a short while after the ceremony, but we took refuge under some palm trees.
As they say in Jamaica, it was "no problem, mon".
After the wedding ceremony itself, we had a sand ceremony, which was so sweet. It really added another lovely dimension to
the whole day. This was followed by our Best Man's Toast & Champagne & hors d'oeuvres.
Following the wedding, we had a private reception in the resorts private reception room. The dinner was fabulous -- straight off
the menu from the one of the resorts a la carte restaurants, Patois Patio. The reception was from 7-10pm and included our own
wait staff, bar & bartender. We brought our own music in using our MP3 player & a docking station. It worked out great. It was
an incredibly elegant evening that we will never forget. Our wedding cake was a small two tier cake -- the top being chocolate
(upon the Groom's request) and the bottom being Jamaican Rum Cake (the Bride's choice). We brought in our own topper which was
our monogram encrusted with incredibly sparkly Swarovski Crystals.
We stayed at Couples Swept Away for another week to Honeymoon and it was fabulous! The people are so very friendly; we have
never encountered people so happy and upbeat anywhere else we have ever traveled. The all inclusive aspect of the resort was
amazing. Top shelf liquor! Top quality food! Great entertainment! And the sunsets ... like nothing you will ever see in
the states! We are planning on returning for our first anniversary next year (alone this time!)
The resort was ever so accommodating to us. Anything we asked for, we were provided with. Our wedding coordinator, Tamika,
was a pleasure to work with. Our wishes were her command! Since this is an adults only resort, we asked permission to have
the 16 year olds attend, and again, it was "no problem, mon"!

At the beginning stages of planning we knew we wanted a destination wedding, but had no idea where to begin. We stumbled upon
the Destination Weddings webpage and everything just fell into place. After we were contacted by our wedding specialist, we
decided to wed in Jamaica. We were originally scheduled to marry in Montego Bay, but due to renovations that were being made we
ended up at Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios. This definitely threw us for a loop, but Marcia and our wedding planner,
Felecia (from the resort) were very accommodating and made sure this change did not stress us out or our guests.
We arrived at our resort to outstanding services from the entire staff. We met with our wedding planner, Felecia, and everything
was just as we had hoped. All of our guests arrived safely and they enjoyed themselves tremendously. It was really like a family reunion!
The wedding under the gazebo was beautiful. The threat of rain went away just before our wedding time and the weather was
just beautiful. Our reception was so much fun and the food ... fantastic.

We visited the Riu Negril in May of 2006, just for a short vacation. At the time we didn't even know we would be engaged in just a couple of months. We saw a couple of weddings there, and their beauty and the evident relaxed attitude of all the guests convinced us that we would have a destination wedding, no matter what.
We knew we wanted to go back to this resort because it was perfect and it would be easier on our minds bringing all of our guests to a place we already knew and were happy with. So this part was easy. Then we came across DestinationWeddings.com and thought "this is great!" I work full time and was getting my MBA at the time, so the last thing I wanted was to become the point of contact and travel agent to 20 to 30 people that were coming...
In comes Diane M.! The most awesome and helpful Jersey girl! She was our specialist from DestinationWeddings.com and ALL of our guests had nothing but great things to say about her. We had people contact her from all over the place, and she gave us the best service, to every single one of us!
The Club Riu Negril is now our favorite spot... not only is the resort GORGEOUS and the staff the friendliest, but their on-site wedding coordinator is a sweetheart. Dionne made ALL my dreams come true. I emailed her non stop for over 6 months with questions, ideas, pictures, suggestions... and she was ALWAYS there for me! and once I met her in person, she was even better! She helped me materialize a beautiful beach wedding, and she was SO supportive when I was down, worrying about possible rain!!! (which never came). PLUS, the photography service from the resort was AMAZING! and their prices very competitive.
Diane and Dionne were our guardian angels during our wedding planning process, much love and gratitude to you ladies!!!!

The service at Dreams was amazing! Our guests were very impressed. When we would tell locals where we were staying they always said "Wow" and we quickly learned why. Though it was an hour and 15 minutes from the airport (with a direct transfer) the drive was worth it when you pulled up! The hotel was beautiful and the service, because it was an all inclusive, was the best I have ever had. They really made us feel special and the staff did whatever they could to ensure a good time was had.
The food was amazing! It was hard to get a table for larger groups for dinner but tables for 4 barely had a wait, no matter what time. We scheduled excursions which were also great (Delphenius swim with dolphins, horseback ride through the jungle with swimming horses, Tulum Extreme zip line, repelling, snorkling and Tulum ruins guided tour).
Our onsite wedding coordinator was Landy and she was amazing. The planning and execution was impeccable. I really didn't need to worry about a thing while we were there. Our photographer and videographer were great and took some very creative shots! The dinner many said was the best they had ever had. Thank you for your work on the room upgrade, we were given a choice between a honeymoon suite with a garden view or an ocean view suite. We opted for the ocean view instead, but it was very easy to get! :)
All in all the exerience was really great. And I have referred your services to two of my friends also planning destination weddings!
To sum it up briefly, DestinationWeddings.com helped me plan and execute my dream wedding.
My Husband and I were married at the Aventura Spa Palace in the Riviera Maya, Mexico on May 10, 2008. Our destination wedding specialist was Karyn. With her knowledge and travel experience to various tropical locations she was able to recommend several excellent choices for us to choose from for our wedding. She went through the trouble of contacting each hotel one by one to obtain information I requested from her. We worked as a team.
Once we made the decision to get married at The Aventura Spa Palace, Karyn handled all travel itineraries for us and our guests. She kept me up to date on all of the bookings so I felt connected at all times.
What can I say about The Aventura Spa Palace, EXCELLENCE!!! The wedding staff (Roser and her associates) were magnificent. We met with her for about two hours a couple days before the wedding and went over all of the details for the ceremony and reception. It was that easy. We did not have to spend our free time worrying about anything but relaxing and spending time with our wedding guests.
The wedding day went extremely well. For a bride, I was not stressed at all. Roser made sure of it. All I had to do was show up ... just like the groom.

Our names are Christopher and Katherine Mendoza. We are from Bayside, New York. Our destination wedding story took 13 years in
the making! My husband and I had been together for 12 years before we got engaged. So this was a long awaited event for us and
our families and friends as well. We recently got married in the beautiful island of Jamaica in the Sandals Montego Bay
All-inclusive Resort and Spa. My husband and I have always been into doing most things differently than other people we know.
We love to travel and have always had a spirit for adventure. Plus, nobody in our family or any of our friends and acquaintances
has ever done a destination wedding before. We thought it would be such a unique way to celebrate our special day. So my husband
and I did some research and came across destinationweddings.com and within two days, our destination wedding consultant,
Karin P. contacted us and discussed possible destinations.
We just weren't quite sure how our families would take the news as they had their own expectations of how our wedding was going
to be like as well. When we first broke the news to our families, they were not all too thrilled about it. The idea sounded

give them the opportunity to support and join us on the most important day of our lives, but that it would also be a chance for

We did not want our guests to be left alone to fend for themselves and arrange their travels on their own as this can be such
a daunting task especially for somebody who doesn't have as much experience, expertise, and bargaining power in dealing with
airlines and other travel agencies and companies. My husband and I can really say that we were glad we came
to destinationweddings.com for the much needed assistance because our guests really felt well taken care of all throughout the
process of booking, traveling, and during their stay in Sandals Montego Bay as well.
I would also highly recommend having a destination wedding and reception in an all-inclusive resort such as Sandals as it usually is
a cashless environment and guests are free to do whatever they want, whenever they want. Our guests did not have to worry about
a thing as everything was already included and paid for. We were so glad Karin told us about this option as my husband and I did
not want this to be just all about our wedding. We felt that it was important for our guests to enjoy themselves and treat this
trip as their vacation as well.
And the best part of a destination wedding was we never had to do a thing! Karin arranged everything for us and introduced us to
a Sandals wedding coordinator who in turn introduced us to our actual wedding consultant at the resort. We were able to
directly correspond with our wedding coordinator and told her of our plans and what exactly it was that we wanted for our
wedding. This part was so crucial for me especially, because I am very particular with little details! And it's hard not being
able to actually see and know what's going on because the wedding venue and coordinators were far away from us. I liked being
able to communicate constantly with somebody in case I had to change or add something. Karin and our wedding coordinators never
made us feel like they were inaccessible. They would actually check up on us and would often send me pictures of whatever it was
I asked for or asked about, so that I would have peace of mind knowing that they took care of it already or at least to let me
know that they understood what I was asking about. I would also call Karin every now and then just to vent and she always knew just what to say to calm my nerves down a bit.

My husband Lou & I were not quite sure what we wanted to do for our wedding. We definitely wanted something stress free & not so expensive as we are on a tight budget. We shopped around in our local area Philadelphia, however every estimate was close to $30,000 & we just couldn't afford it. We really wanted to be free in spirit and just go to a beach ourselves, but part of me is traditional as I grew up in an Italian-Catholic family & still wanted some tradition, plus I just couldn't imagine not having my mother there with me.
My co-worker got married one year before in Punta Cana & she raved about how amazing it was. My other very dear friend & co-worker was also planning a Destination Wedding in Montego Bay, Jamaica. I hardly had to do a thing as Sue took care of everything! And I truly mean everything. She was so patient, kind, caring & loving. Sue really cares for her clients as if they were her family. I was so confused on where to have it, and she took so much time to help me decide on Beaches Resort & Spa, Negril Jamaica. We had a 4 day vacation wedding at Beaches with the family & then we went to Sandals adult only resort just 5 minutes away for our honeymoon, away from the family & kids. Sue is a certified Beaches specialist so that was even more amazing. And the best part about once you confirm your travels you receive your deposit back!
This was the best decision we could have ever made. Everything was so smooth, easy & just breathtaking. As soon as we arrived we were like a famous couple, "the wedding couple." The whole resort treated us like family & made us feel as if we were home. When we arrived there was some trouble with the toilets & Sue was on it INSTANTLY & we were upgraded to an even more beautiful suite the same day. When DestinationWeddings.com says they are there 24/7, let me tell you they mean that literally!!!
Sue was not only my specialist but she became family. She treated my family so wonderful & we were so happy to enjoy a character breakfast compliments of her. Sue also gave me such beautiful gifts that I can't even begin to say how grateful I am for her generosity. She really took the time to show how much she cared for us, this is not just a job for her but a passion! I must say I wouldn't have done it any other way. It truly was a dream come true, a paradise wedding. When I showed the pictures to everyone once I arrived home, the response was that the pictures looked fake! That is how amazing the photographer was, how amazing it is to have your wedding picture at sunset on a breathtaking island! Nothing can beat that. The photographer was so professional as well as fun! The ceremony was so special, the minister was so warm, friendly & caring. The mini reception Beaches had for us outside was so nice, with the cutting of the cake & champagne, as well as the hour we took to take photos. Then we went to a nearby Resort, "Sandy Bay," and had an amazing reception dinner there.
At first my mother was skeptical as of course she is from the "old school, " but once I showed her the website & she spoke to Sue she was all for it. My parents helped us out tremendously financially and they were rewarded as well with an amazing vacation. What more could we have asked for. It was a wonderful intimate wedding with just family, totaling 14 guests. We had the time of our lives, the food was great, the weather perfect, truly stress free. I was on the beach in the morning & getting married in the afternoon.
Once we arrived the wedding consultant sat with us the following day to go over everything. I must say the salon was amazing & my hair/makeup stylist was so talented. We did a trial the day before the wedding & my hair & makeup came out perfect! We even had our couples massage the day we arrived at Sandals & it was just the right start to our honeymoon. It was so relaxing we even fell asleep at the beach on a hammock one evening!
Of course preparing for a wedding is stressful, it just comes with the territory. If you have a big family you have to send all the invites, thank you cards, getting your dream dress, etc ... but I must say DestinationWeddings.com really took so much of that stress off as they pretty much planned everything with the resort. I know this was a long testimonial, but there is just entirely too much to express, I could go on and on. So let me end this on a final note, if you are unsure about having a Destination Wedding, don't worry because it will be the best decision you can ever make.

From the moment we got engaged, we both knew we wanted to have a Destination Wedding. The hardest part was choosing the right location. Sue R. at Detination Weddings really helped us with providing many suggestions for locations, and made our decision much easier. We relied on her experience and expertise, and it paid off in the end! We chose Mexico because of the beautiful gazebo at Dreams and we couldn't have been happier with the resort. We had 40 of our closest friends and family attend the wedding celebration. My husband Cody and I are from Dallas, Texas. We left on a Tuesday
for the time of our lives. We spent 8 days at the Aventura Spa and Palace Resort, a 5 star All-Inclusive
resort in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. The weather was 90 degrees and sunny the whole
vacation. We placed all 28 guests on one side of the resort and I spent
everyday feeling like a princess. David helped us choose the hotel with
delicious restaurants, invigorating massages, colorful drinks, and
gorgeous atmosphere that made our wedding priceless.
As for the ceremony, my father and I arrived at the gazebo in a white
horse and carriage. We both walked up the red carpet to an amazing
scene of blue sky, crashing waves, cotton clouds. It took about 15
minutes for the ceremony and every minute was as perfect as I dreamed. My
wedding Planner, Jazmine, was right there with me.
I would recommend the marriacci band! My friends and family can't
stop talking about the great music and large sombrerros :)

My husband Sean and I decided to get married in a place that all our friends and family could come together and experience a vacation while attending our wedding. We chose Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and called on the assistance of Camille Hutchinson and Destination Weddings.
Camille was our Destination Wedding Specialist who wouldn't quit! She was available 24 hours a day and at this particular wedding, we needed it!
We were married at the Crown Paradise Resort, an all-inclusive resort for families. Next door was the sister resort, Golden Crown Paradise, an all-inclusive adults only resort. We had 91 friends and family join us and each came at a different time making Camille's job just a little more involved. Prior to the wedding she was active in coordinating with the resort and wedding coordinators to ensure that Sean and I got everything we had asked for and expected. I was impressed with her assertiveness and tenacity in getting questions answered and results produced in a timely matter.
During our stay in Mexico, Camille was a phone call away making changes to reservations and periodically checking in with us to make sure we were all doing well. I had numerous guests tell me how impressed they were with Camille and her quick responses and positive attitude. Camille had her work cut out for her and she came out shining! We could not have done all this without her. I sometimes step back and think of what I would have been like if I had to do this on my own!
Our friends and family continue to compliment us on how fun the wedding was. Everyone was relaxed and happy as they were all on vacation. The family resort was a kid's paradise. My nieces and nephews had ear to ear grins on their face even while they slept. Friends came from Australia, the UK, Canada, and the US. We all left with contact info in pockets and life long friendships made.
Our wedding ceremony was beautiful. The flowers were georgeous and the we could not have been happier with the reception and our Mexican trio. The food was beyond our expectations.
Our wedding day was exactly as I had expected and anticipated. At no time was I stressed out or worried. The photos of our wedding are a clear example of the happiness we felt that day. Thank you Destination Weddings and especially Camille Hutchinson for making our dream come true.

Imagine blue-green waters swaying, warm sun caressing, and blue skies hovering over. Heaven on earth. That's what we experienced on the islands of Jamaica as we became Mr. and Mrs.
My name is Constance A. Kinder-Barton. My husband Roy and I reside in Landover, Maryland. Our destination wedding was in Paradise – Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The day was absolutely fabulous. Our Destination Weddings Coordinator Deanna was great. She made sure all our guests' arrangements were in order. Her diligence and support was greatly appreciated by my husband and I.
I couldn't have asked for more. No stress or headache. Everything from the beginning of our initial planning until the day of the wedding, every detail was in order. The one thing I strongly recommend is that you keep constant communication between your on-site location coordinator and your travel coordinator when it comes to the travel portion of the trip. One of our guest ran into severely bad weather and had no way of attending - but Deanna was there to take care of everything.
I can't stop expressing my appreciation to Destination Weddings and Deanna for their professionalism and personalized customer service.
Jeremy and I decided to have a destination wedding because both of us loved the beach and did not want to deal with the hassles associated with a traditional wedding. On top of that, most of the family is dispersed around the east coast and Midwest, so no matter where we were married our guests would be traveling. Jamaica was the perfect compromise! It offered the setting and convenience we were looking for and provided us with a much-needed family vacation. Due to everyone living so far apart, we rarely get to visit together.
We had a beautiful wedding at the Starfish Trelawny Resort. The preparedness of the wedding coordinator at the resort, Conroy Thompson, was top notch, the setting was beautiful, and the minister who married us was perfect. We were very happy with how everything turned out and our family had a blast in the process!
There were 25 guests and our Destination Wedding Specialist, Monique Rowe, helped us arrange everyone’s accommodations in a convenient manner and select a resort that would fit our needs. The Starfish resort was affordable and very family friendly. I would recommend Monique’s services to anyone who is looking to have a destination wedding. She checked her emails regularly, was easy to get in touch with, and helped me to make some difficult decisions.
After the wedding in Jamaica, Jeremy and I went to Aruba for our honeymoon and Monique helped us to arrange those travel accommodations as well. Aruba was absolutely beautiful!! We hope to go back in a few years for our anniversary. Thanks Monique!
Hi, this is Erika Brodie from Boston, Massachusetts. My husband Eddie and I got married on the Riviera Maya in Mexico on June 29, 2007.
Initially we had planned on getting married close to home and soon realized how ridiculously expensive it was going to be for us to have the type of wedding we wanted to have here at home, so we decided on a destination wedding. My husband Ted and I were just married in Ocho Rios, Jamaica at the Riu Resort.
Destination Weddings provided us with a wonderful wedding coordinator and travel agent, Marcia Perkins. She was incredible! She did all the research for me, I simply told her what we were looking for and our budget.
I was extremely impressed when we arrived at the resort! Jamaica was beautiful! And the resort was luxurious with great food, great entertainment, excellent service and beautiful grounds. The accommodations were large and well kept, and the beach was breathtaking.
The resort staff and locals were great, everything was so laid back, exactly the type of place we wanted to marry.
Our wedding took place on the beach, shoes optional! And it could not have gone better. The site was picturesque, the flowers were lovely, and the steel pan band was the perfect touch!
Marcia took the time to accommodate us and all our guests. She made herself available to me at all hours for planning or advice. I think of Marcia as a dear friend. This was the most important event in our lives and she is a special part of it.
This is Brad and Laura Gonzales. We were married in Nassau, Bahamas on May 26, 2007. We had a wonderful wedding and reception with the help of Sue Ryan of Destination Weddings and Sandra Kemp of Paradise Weddings. We we married at St. Christopher's Church in Lyford Cay, Nassau Bahamas and had our reception at the Wyndham Hotel in Cable Beach. The church is a well kept secret that needs to be shared as it was so beautiful in a gated community. We were able to have our dream wedding with both church and beach pictures.
At first, it was difficult for us to let go and allow someone to handle all of the details for this special day without being there to pick everything out ourselves. However, Sue Ryan helped us pick a location that would allow the majority of our family and friends to attend at reasonable price. She handled all of the travel arrangements for us and our guests and communicated with them from the moment we booked until everyone returned home. She was in contact with the hotel on a regular basis to ensure that all of our guests would be well taken care of. She coordinated with Mrs. Kemp to handle all of the wedding and reception details including the minister, church, flowers, transportation, hair, make-up, photographer, videographer, DJ, food and cake.
Everything turned out to be perfect! The flowers were beautiful. The church was amazing. Father Cartwright, the minister, was wonderful and funny. The photographer and videographer were fantastic and they did a wonderful job coordinating together. The pictures and DVD turned out better than we could have dreamed for. The DJ did a great job and got everyone involved and having fun. The food was delicious. My hair and make-up turned out beautiful. The cake was exactly what I asked for with a beautiful design and flowers.
Our wedding day was not stressful as you hear most bride and grooms complaining about. He spent the day golfing with his family and I spent the morning at the beach and then I was pampered all afternoon including getting my hair done, a manicure and pedicure and my make-up. The private bus arrived to pick up the guests and a limo arrived for the bridal party and we were off to a beautiful sunset wedding at the church with an outside beach/pool reception to follow.
Our family and friends said that it was one of the best weddings that they have been to. It was a nice vacation for our guests and it made memories that will last a lifetime.

We just returned from our wedding, which was held on March 16, 2007 at Beaches Boscobel Resort & Golf Club in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
We were fortunate to have 14 of our closest friends and family join us in the celebration, and oh what a celebration it was!
It had always been our intent to have a destination wedding secondary to our busy careers and my propensity to stress out over
pretty much anything.
We did an internet search of different companies specializing in destination weddings, and ultimately chose to go through
DestinationWeddings.com after it was recommended by one of our friends. We were assigned to work with wedding specialist
Debbie R., who worked very hard to make our dream wedding a reality. Debbie turned out to be our saving grace.
She was always available by phone or email whenever I had a question or concern and she took care of all of the arrangements
once we chose the site of our wedding. She even sent emails and made phone calls to some of our guests when they were
procrastinating with making their travel plans, just so that I could relax and not have to deal with the burden.
Since I have two younger siblings under the age of 18, we chose to get married at Beaches, a family resort.
All of us made it to Jamaica and to our hotel without any problems, and we all had beautiful rooms with an ocean view (Debbie
had pre-requested this for all of us). Once there, we met with our wonderful onsite wedding planner Teca, who helped us to
pick out where the ceremony and reception would be held, made all of the photo and salon appointments, and ordered custom-made
flower arrangements based on my description of what I wanted. Every single worker at Beaches Boscobel was incredibly helpful
and seemed sincerely interested in helping to make our wedding perfect. Our only disappointment was the fact that it rained
on our wedding day, but the Jamaicans were keen on pointing out that in their country, rain is a blessing and should be welcomed.
All in all, our wedding was absolutely wonderful, and we would do it all again in a heartbeat. All of our guests had a blast,
some living it up and partying as if we were in college again!
Our guests returned home after 4 days in gorgeous Jamaica, and then we traveled to Beaches Negril Resort & Spa for our honeymoon
(also arranged by Debbie). The hotel staff upgraded our room to one with an ocean view, free of charge, and we spent our
days relaxing by the pool/ocean.
We rode ATVs in the mountains, went on a canopy tour that included 7 oh-so-fun zip lines through the tree tops, and even went
cliff jumping at Rick's Cafe, which boasts the title of one of the world's top 10 bars.

We are from Byron, Minnesota and our destination wedding was at the Iberostar Quetzal / Tucan in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
We knew that we wanted a destination wedding from the very beginning, we just didn't know how to start planning it. So we started by searching online and we found destinationweddings.com.
Some concerns we had in the beginning of our planning was coordinating our guest's travel arrangements as they were coming from different places in the U.S. and the Dominican Republic. We soon realized that we had nothing to worry about as our Destination Wedding Planner, Nancy Briscoe, was on top of her game and took care of everything for us. Nancy was also able to get contact information for our hotel's wedding planner, Mariela, so that we were able to discuss wedding details via email with her. Nancy made herself available and we were able to communicate often, which made our wedding planning go smoothly.
Our wedding was truly beautiful and everything that we had ever wished for, and more! We couldn't believe how stress-free and wonderful everything was. Our group of 33 family and friends felt truly blessed to be able to share in this special time in our lives with us and enjoyed a vacation of their very own.

Thank you so much for recommending the Iberostar Del Mar!! Pictures surely did not do justice to the resort. The landscaping and
foliage was absolutely beautiful, not to mention the flamingos and peacocks. We had a total of 72 guests and we must say that they
thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We packed gift bags for our guests and could hardly deliver them to their rooms because they were out
and about at the beach, pool or on day trips. We were so happy that they enjoyed themselves.
As for the ceremony, we practiced on Thursday evening at the gazebo and it went fantastic, even though we just could not see how Reyna
and her staff could accommodate the number of chairs we required. However, let us say that Reyna and the Iberostar people know their
jobs and made the gazebo area look like it was made just for our wedding! Everything turned out better than we could have possibly hoped for, and when Carleen came down the aisle I knew it was perfect. You can see from the picture how beautiful she was.
The reception went off without a hitch as we enjoyed each other and danced the night away. We actually had numerous people tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding that they had been to.
Our honeymoon was also another lifelong remembrance and experience. The room was gorgeous and we took the time to do massages, day trips to Xel-ha, Tulum and Cancun. We even had a romantic candle light dinner on the beach. The honeymoon was so enjoyable that we stayed an extra day, leaving on Friday instead of Thursday.
Again, our many thanks to you - you did a most wonderful job coordinating trips for our guests and recommending both the Iberostar and El Dorado - as we would not have known where to start without you. You have our heartfelt gratitude!!
When my husband proposed to me we immediately knew we wanted a small destination wedding. I also knew that Mexico would be the most

The Divi All Inclusive offered a lot more than any of us had expected. Since we planned the wedding during the low season,
many of our guests got room upgrades. The drinks never stopped and service was wonderful. We all partied as if there was not a care in the world, which was true;
everything was taken care of ahead of time. It is so nice to go to a place where everyone smiles at you, especially when you're getting married.

Honeymooning in Bonaire was fabulous; it is definitely a diver's paradise. Staying at Harbor Village was unbelievable, the hotel staff there treated us like royalty and the dive shop staff is among the best we've seen. The whole experience was unforgettable and truly THE WAY to start a new life.

When we first got engaged, we thought we would be way ahead of the game as we had decided a few years prior that we would take the Destination Wedding route after attending a friend's wedding in Mexico.

We had an unbelievable wedding. The fact that we were able to get 40 of our closest family and friends down to Mexico to celebrate our wedding was fantastic.
But we not only celebrated on the day of the wedding, we were able to enjoy the company of our guests for 3 days at the beautiful El Dorado Resort as well.
The wedding coordinators helped to take care of all of the details before the day of the wedding, so that I (the stressed out bride) could enjoy my friends and
family and enjoy the special weekend. They were such a tremendous help. On the day of the wedding they helped to coordinate all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen with
ease. The chapel was decorated gorgeously and they were able to close down one of the restuarants to host our reception. I cried so hard at the end of the evening
because I didn't want it to end.
One of the biggest reasons that our wedding was such a huge success was because of our choice in destinations. Judy Hack did an amazing job finding the perfect resort
to accommodate our vision. We told her we wanted an all-inclusive resort, adults-only with a chapel on site, and of course something that would be affordable to

Hi, this is Angela and Sean Barker from Simpsonville, SC. We recently got back from our wedding and honeymoon at Sunscape The Beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
When Sean and I finally decided on a date to get married we had about 5 months to plan a wedding. I knew from the beginning that I wanted a destination wedding,
but Sean had some concerns. He is from Trinidad and that was originally where we wanted to go. But when Midge, our travel agent, told us the cost we decided it was

Sean and I eventually chose Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Midge was able to find the best packages for us and all of our guests and handled all of our travel arrangements.
Sean and I fell in love with the all-inclusive resort, Sunscape The Beach in Punta Cana, as soon as we read about it and saw pictures. I was a little nervous about my
guests being comfortable and happy with the resort. I should not have wasted my time worrying! All of our 14 guests were happy and excited and could not stop talking
about how wonderful it was.
The entire staff was helpful and courteous and really went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy and had a great time. The photographer was ingenious and all
of our pictures were beautiful. The wedding ceremony was just perfect, we had an 8 p.m. wedding at the gazebo and it was magical. The dinner and cake were delicious
and we had our first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Barker at Sunscape's very own Desires Disco.

We have just returned from our wedding and honeymoon, which was the most amazing trip of our lives, thanks to Andrea Markus-O'Grady and Destination Wedding Travel.
We knew that we wanted a destination wedding from the moment we got engaged, but we had no idea how to plan one. We started searching the internet and found several
companies that plan destination weddings. We tried a few but not one of them was helpful or responsive - until we found DestinationWeddings.com and Andrea, and

After months of trying to make a decision we decided on the beautiful all-inclusive Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and it was more than

the travel for us and our guests, but she also became a friend who cared and always took time to help us through any situation that arose. We could not have done

Rhett and I had a wonderful time at Couples San Souci. The resort was absolutely gorgeous and the service blew us away. We have so many great memories.
We got married in a gazebo over the water. It was beautiful, although very short. And our photographer, Diana Campbell, far exceeded our expectations. She really
made our wedding day fantastic, so I can't help but rave.
As for the rest of the trip, the food was absolutely delicious, they served the best coffee I've ever had, and the rooms were extremely elegant.
The staff also put fresh flowers on our bed every day, which I loved. It was just as you said, very classy. One thing though - our trip was just too long for such
a small and quiet place. (I think I remember you warning me that 10 days may be too long, but I was stubborn!) If we go back, we'll probably go to
Negril (for the beaches), and we'll avoid vacationing in a tropical climate in the middle of July!
Anyway, thanks so much for all of your help and patience with my never-ending questions. Even though I know you were busy, you made us feel
like we were the only ones you were working with. You are a fantastic wedding planner and I'd recommend you and Destination Weddings to anyone.

all questions and requests. She served as a wonderful negotiator with the hotel and got room upgrades and great packages for my guests.
I listened to her advice on many issues and she was always right. She kept in touch with me almost daily by email and phone so that I could be happy with the wedding.
My wedding was absolutely perfect! All that I wanted was done. None of my guests had any issues with travel. The group rate negotiated was fair and affordable.

Hi, my name is Lisa Whigham. My husband Tony and I are from Lexington, South Carolina, and we married at the Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
I knew I wanted to do something different for our wedding, something that captured who both my husband and I are. We want to thank Sheila Hyman with Destination Weddings for making that happen and for such an amazing job.
We had concerns at first with placing our trust in a website and someone we did not know. From the first time we spoke with Sheila, she put us at ease.
All the arrangements were taken care of, and this was a truly stress-free wedding. My dad's flight was cancelled, and when Sheila called to tell him, she already had the information for the new flight booked. All of our 13 guests arrived with no problems.
When we arrived, the resort was nothing short of amazing! We were treated like royalty from beginning to end. Anjelica, our on-site coordinator, met with us the morning after our arrival.
We discussed the seating arrangements, flowers, music, etc. Then all we had to do was relax with our family and friends until the big moment. Everything was taken care of and we didn't worry at all!!!
The horse and carriage picked my mom and I up from our room, and took us to the ceremony. All the resort guests and employees we passed along the way shouted congratulations and well wishes.
I felt like a princess. As I walked up the path to the gazebo with my father, the musical trio played the wedding march on their instruments behind me.
During our first dance together, our song "These Are The Days" by Van Morrison played. What was so amazing was that we had forgotten the CD at home.
Anjelica and Lori had downloaded it from the Internet for us and brought it to play after the ceremony.
The photographer, Alejandro, was so wonderful! Our pictures are absolutely beautiful. They even made us a CD of our photos to music. Everyone that has seen it can't believe it.
We had lots of skeptics about having a destination wedding, until they saw the pictures and video. We had the perfect wedding, and to this day we have not seen a wedding that we think is as beautiful as ours.
We wanted to have a destination wedding, and I was positive this would be easy to plan on our own. I was wrong. It was so stressful just deciding on a hotel,
finding vendors in the area, even someone who would return our call in a timely manner. I'm from New York and maybe we are used to fast responses,
but working with people outside the country, I would have to wait 3 days at least to get an answer.
Luckily, I learned my lesson early on, and turned to Destination Weddings for help. We had an idea of the area where we wanted to get married, but no idea of the hotel,
customs in the area, florist shop, reception area, etc. Researching and finding vendors you can trust is not an easy task, especially when you are far across the ocean.
I came upon Destination Weddings, and at first I was weary, being that I'm from New York I don't trust anyone. I took a chance. This turned out to be the best
investment I ever made.
Debbie Ryan was our wedding planner. Her extremely pleasant tone always uplifted you even when you had a bad day. From the beginning she reviewed our budget,
ideas, and even provided some suggestions of her own. The planning went off without a hitch. I think I put in only 4 hours of man power after I met Debbie. She took care of the guests, questions, and anyone's
possible issue that could come up. In the end, we had the wedding based on the budget we planned and even had a couple of extras.
Our wedding took place on a catamaran and ended with a small reception at a trendy Asian fusion restaurant.
The day we arrived, the hotel was overbooked and they had mixed up the names of some of my guests. They tried to straighten it out but were still short a room.
I was told there was nothing that could be done, and all the rooms were overbooked. I mentioned I had a confirmation, and I was told it doesn't mean that they were
actually booked. I found this funny, because I was on the phone with Debbie and the hotel the day before to confirm the rooms! The moment I mentioned my travel
planner was Destination Weddings and Debbie Ryan, I got a different tone. Within 5 minutes suddenly a room was available. They bumped someone else for the time
being, and told us if that person should show up, then my guests would be bumped - but I called Debbie and within minutes I was told there would be no problems
with my guests' rooms.
After the check-in experience, the rest of our time there was wonderful. Our wedding day was so perfect, I wish I could have another one. Thanks to Debbie, we worked with the best people on the Island.
Jim, our captain on the Dancing Dolphin, decorated the catamaran exactly to our liking. His crew was so delightful that we used them again for our snorkeling excursion.
The florist shop provided us with the most beautiful bouquets. We received compliments from everyone at the hotel and outside the hotel.
Our photographer was very attentive, and each step of the way everyone involved listened and followed through with our needs.
It's nice to spend your vacation just lying by the pool, instead of in your hotel room making last minute confirmations.
I received an e-mail the other day, a couple of months after my last conversation with Debbie.
Debbie followed up with me from our last conversation when I provided her feedback on my trip and wedding. She updated me that she has been contacting the hotel and
they are planning on compensating us for our inconvenience. Is that great or what? Even when the trip was over, and even after I told Debbie not to worry, she still
didn't give up. This is an example of the type of service you would receive if you were Donald Trump, but without spending the amount he would.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about it, discuss ideas of what you want for your wedding with your DestinationWeddings.com planner.

When we decided to get married, the only thing we knew we wanted was a beautiful, classic and low-stress wedding.
We were living across the country from each other and our family was scattered all around, so we decided that a

Destination Weddings. Our consultant was amazing. She was so very helpful in so many
ways throughout the planning stages of our Caribbean wedding. She understood timelines and would

This is Matt and Mindy Harrison from Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. We were married on June 21, 2005 at
the Paradise Island Beach Club in Nassau Bahamas. From the day of our engagement, we knew that a
destination wedding was the way that we wanted to go, but we weren't sure if we were going to be able to
pull it off by ourselves. After we found Destination Weddings and our specialist, Debbie, I knew that
everything would be great.
Some of our concerns were that we wouldn't be able to get our closest friends
and family who were on a budget to our wedding and that everything would go as planned. Debbie made
everything easy! She was in constant contact with us and our friends and families from day one until the
day after the wedding. It was difficult to put our trust in someone who was so far away and that we had
never met before to plan one of the biggest days of our lives, but Deb was there every step of the way.
She checked in with our wedding planner in the Bahamas to make sure everything was going as intended and
that she was going to give us the destination wedding that we wanted. She was patient and helpful, especially when
we had to change all of our plans two months before the wedding due to the sale of our original location!
Debbie helped us with our reservations at the fabulous Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island. The resort
was amazing, it was everything that we could have imagined and we are hoping to plan a return visit for
our second honeymoon!
Our wedding was absolutely perfect. The day started off with everyone relaxing on the beach in the
morning, spending the afternoon at the spa with the girls and getting married on Paradise Beach at sunset.
We topped that off with a lovely reception dinner overlooking the Port of Call at Luciano's of Chicago in
Nassau as the sun went down.
Matt and I had been together for over eight years when we got engaged. We wanted our wedding to be about
us and we wanted our closest friends and family with us. What we got was so much more. We had a
wonderful week in the Bahamas, a beautiful wedding on the beach, and amazing pictures to go along with

at the Starfish Trelawny. We worked with Destination Wedding Travel which was absolutely wonderful,

I was so confused as to what hotel to choose
for my family members that was not too expensive, and Deb's recommendation was lovely. The people were
great and the family loved it. When I was confused as to where to have the wedding, Deb contacted both wedding coordinators at the Wyndham Rose Hall along with other local coordinators several times before we agreed on a
coordinator.
Whenever I had a question it was always answered in a timely manner. Being a bride, that was very
important. Even while in Jamaica Deb contacted us several times. I was worried about my pictures

to Caryle of Destination Wedding Travel. We had our Destination Wedding on July 23, 2005 at
Sunset Beach Resort and Spa, in Montego Bay Jamaica. We wanted something not too expensive
(that allowed children) for our guests. Caryle helped us find the perfect place! We were apprehensive
at first in trusting someone over the 'net that we had never met, but we did and everything turned out
fabulous. We talked to Caryle almost everyday and she helped ease our concerns. She did a wonderful
job preparing our destination wedding. She made us feel comfortable enough to put our total trust in
her. She helped us make some very important decisions. In the end, her opinion and advice mattered
most to us.
Our wedding was right after a big hurricane and many hotels had problems communicating with customers.
We didn't have a problem at all! Caryle was able to get in touch with our resort and keep us up to date
on all the information we needed. Over 50 people attended our wedding - many family members and friends
we never expected made a vacation out of it. Many of them came because Caryle made it so easy and
worry-free for everyone.
We thought planning a wedding in a different country was going to be a daunting feat but all we really
had to do was show up! Everything was taken care of beforehand so we could enjoy ourselves once we got
there.
We had a ball and our wedding was the same weekend as reggae sun splash. Many of our guests attended
the festivities and they had a wonderful time. There were plenty of activities for our guests on the
resort and off. Carlye helped us pick an amazing resort where our friends and family had a great
vacation. Our wedding was beautiful! It wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the great customer
service we had and the pleasant experience planning this wedding. We don't plan on ever getting married
again, but if we had to, we would do it the same way - all over again.

My name is Vicki and I would like to take a moment to tell you how Destination Weddings helped Jeremi and I have our wedding of a lifetime. Jeremi and I were looking for a convenient way to travel from Texas to a destination location that would enable our guests to travel with us at a minimal cost. With Texas being right on the gulf and Jeremi being born and raised near the beach in California, we thought it only fitting to have our wedding in Mexico. Kimberly, our Destination Weddings coordinator worked quickly to help us pinpoint Cozumel as our dream location.
I told her I wanted gorgeous pictures - the water, the sand, and a tropical garden type setting. I even made demands such as "I want sand and water - but I want to have the ceremony on green grass." When we decided to have a destination wedding it was a little scary at first. I felt it would leave me out of total control of all the fine details - and I live for the fine details! back from our Destination Wedding at Breezes in Punta Cana, Dominican
Republic. 30 people attended from 3 different states and all were glad they
came. Kimberly at Destination Weddings booked the travel & hotel

We were worried due to cost that not many of our friends and family would be able to afford coming to our wedding.
Judy our Travel Consultant was caring and understanding, and worked diligently to meet our needs. She was like one of the family.
She corresponded with us frequently, and took care of all of the concerns that we had.
Our wedding turned out better than we expected. 40 people attended our wedding, and everyone told us they had a fabulous time, and that
they were glad they came.
Many of our friends and family were excited to have also had a vacation, and some people we didn't expect to be interested in attending were
there with bells on.
The best part about our wedding was that the weather was absolutely perfect, and we had a beautiful, sunny background with palm trees and ocean
waters. It was also a memorable family vacation as well. We wouldn't change anything about our wedding - it was perfect.

When we first began the destination wedding process, my husband and I knew that we wanted to get
married in the islands somewhere and have as many friends and family there with us as could afford
to be there. We found Destination Weddings online and after doing a month's worth of research on other
agencies, chose to register with Destination Weddings.
We were lucky from day one to have such a wonderful consultant in Deb Ryan. She was so wonderful and
listened to everything we wanted for our special day. She let us make our own decisions and gave us all
the information we needed to make the best decision for us within the budget we had available.
Our destination wedding was held in Antigua, West Indies. This was a location that was new to all of us,
but within a week Deb was able to give us everything we could possibly want to know about a destination
wedding in Antigua. It was amazing. This planning should have been the most stressful event of our lives
but with the help and support of Deb and Destination Weddings it was the least stressful and wonderful
experience of our lives.
We had twenty family and friends that also joined us on our special day and she was able to make all of
their arrangements as well. She also helped us with planning the perfect cocktail hour before the wedding
and the most amazing reception we could have dreamed of after the wedding. Our families still talk about
that day as if it were yesterday.
The only suggestion I can make about the wedding is to remember that it is your honeymoon, too, and if
family and friends do come to celebrate with you make arrangements for some time to yourselves. Our
family and friends stayed at a resort more family oriented and within 15 minutes of us so we could all
still be together -- but when we needed some personal time it wasn't an insult to anyone.

Hello, my name is Carol Lindeen, and I'm also speaking on behalf of my husband Carlos. We live in Minneapolis, Minnesota
and we just got back from our fabulous Destination Wedding in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Hi, my name is Kristi Loeffelholz from Des Moines, Iowa. Jason Edwards and I got married at the Sandals Grand St. Lucian in St. Lucia,
West Indies.
It was a great time - very relaxing, and the best advice I can give to any new brides and grooms going down there to get married
is just to relax! They take care of everything once you get down there.
The flowers were gorgeous, and I'd also recommend getting a videographer and photographer - they did a wonderful job
with everything.

We went to DestinationWeddings.com website after we realized that the Cayman Islands weren't going to re-open in time after
Hurricane Ivan. And at this point we were 3 weeks away from our scheduled wedding date with 30 guests confirmed to the Cayman Islands.
We hooked up with Destination Wedding Travel and they came through with an unbelievable location for us at the Wyndham in
St. Thomas. All of our guests were able to stay at the same hotel as us, and we had an absolutely unbelievable wedding.
The coordination was excellent and we were extremely happy - as were all of our guests!
I would have to say the biggest concern we had regarding a Destination Wedding was simply, how do we possibly plan the most important day of our lives together
being so far away from Hawaii.

We just returned from our wedding and Honeymoon from Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii.
We were married at the Hyatt Regency on November 21, 2004, and the entire day was just spectacular.
Jason even somehow managed to get a rainbow to appear - right after the ceremony was finished.
We had our honeymoon on our own and separate from our family who had attended our wedding. It was a wonderful and relaxing experience.
Debbie, our Destination Wedding Travel consultant did a fantastic job of ensuring that we had the best resorts to stay at on both islands,
and that all of our travel information was at our fingertips at every moment. Everything went off without a hitch and we even had some upgrades
along the way which was cool.
